POP Lost Crown General Uvishka: How to defeat Boss 1 in The Lost Crown?

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is the newest game in the POP series. The game has challenging boss fights, similar to the Sands Trilogy, making them a major highlight. These fights allow you to showcase all your abilities and combos, especially with the addition of a proper parry mechanic for blocking attacks.

The first boss you encounter in the main story is General Uvishka, appearing at the end of the tutorial area. This is a great opportunity to practice the game’s mechanics because the boss isn’t too tough, and you can take your time learning how to play. Our guide will provide strategies to help you use your combat skills effectively and defeat POP Lost Crown General Uvishka.

How to Defeat Prince of Persia The Lost Crown General Uvishka?

POP Lost Crown General Uvishka is a tough boss with two main parts to the battle, each having regular and strong attacks. You can block or parry the regular attacks, but you need to dodge the strong ones. The trick to beating him easily is to slide and dodge and then hit him from behind until he gets ready for another attack.

This works for both phases of the fight, and we’ve explained each phase, the attacks, and how to counter them in more detail for your understanding.

Phase 1 of General Uvishka Fight

When you’re facing General Uvishka in the first phase, he has a move where he swings his spear in a big circle and jumps around the screen. You can either block the swing with your weapon, or you can also move out of the way right before he hits you.

Uvishka also has other attacks in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, including:

  • Forward slam: This attack is usually followed by a 360-sweep that can deal damage in a large radius. You can parry or dodge these attacks.
  • Rear his horse up and slam down with his trident: This is a damaging attack that you can dodge or parry to buy more time.

In the first phase of the game, you have to make POP Lost Crown General Uvishka fall off his horse. You can press the dodge button and attack him from behind. Another strategy is to run away, get Uvishka to follow you, then slide underneath him and attack.

Beating General Uvishka is important as it solves the initial problem in the game and lets you move on to the next levels. You win by using Uvishka’s own trident.

Phase 2 of General Uvishka Fight

In the second phase of the big fight with POP Lost Crown General Uvishka, he gets off his horse to fight you directly. Uvishka uses a spear to attack, either by spinning it before hitting you or moving forward while thrusting it. You can easily defend against both attacks by parrying.

In this phase, it’s a good idea to be more aggressive and try to hurt Uvishka as much as you can quickly. POP Lost Crown General Uvishka will attack more, but all of his moves are simple to block or dodge.

The game also teaches you a special move called Vengeful Counter. You can use this when enemies like Uvishka glow with a golden light. It helps you fight back and deal more damage.
