This fast-paced mode involves intense 5v5 matches where quick thinking, slick passing, and clinical finishing are essential for victory. 5v5 Rush will be available in various game modes, including Football Ultimate Team (FUT), Clubs, Kick-Off, and Manager Career.
How to Play Rush Mode in EA SPORTS FC 25?
Rush is played on a field that is about 41.5% the size of a traditional 11v11 field, measuring 63.7×46.6 meters. This design encourages lateral passing and maintains adequate width to prevent the playing area from feeling too narrow.
Each game lasts seven minutes with no halftime, and the clock only stops when the ball goes out of play. If the game is tied after seven minutes, a 2:20 golden-goal period begins, followed by penalty kicks if needed.
Offside rules in Rush are similar to hockey, with a new dotted offside line. A player can be behind a defender and still be considered onside if they aren’t in the attacking zone. Once in the zone, standard offside rules apply.
What are the Features of Rush Mode?
Rush is designed as a social experience and includes a new Quick Chat feature for sending instant messages using the D-pad. Quick Chat can also communicate instructions to teammates, such as ‘Pass,’ ‘Cross,’ or ‘Shoot.’
Players can choose from four different camera options: Broadcast, Tactical, Pro, and End to End. The AR Coach system provides real-time visual guidance to improve decision-making and positioning during matches, suggesting areas of the pitch to move to or runs to make.
Rush matches will take place in a special stadium built in collaboration with Nike, inspired by the iconic Mercurial boots and featuring a 23.7-degree angle like the Nike Swoosh. Commentary will be provided by the iconic Fernando Palomo, adding excitement to the action.
