Early Gameplay Footage From Crazy Taxi Reboot
The “Crazy Taxi Reboot” footage seems to be from an early development stage, recorded back in 2022. In the clip, instead of a regular taxi, there’s a Formula One car speeding around a city, dropping off passengers and picking up new ones really fast, which is quite different from the original game.
The footage also shows new multiplayer features for Crazy Taxi Reboot. Sega had already said the game would change from a single-player experience to an open-world multiplayer game. Ryan mentioned that the developers had some trouble with this shift at first but have made good progress. The game is being developed with Unreal Engine 5, known for its great graphics and smooth gameplay.
This reboot seems to bring a fresh twist, adding a high-speed racing feel to the game. It’s confirmed that the game will be available on all modern platforms, like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and even on a future Nintendo console, which might come out around 2027.

Some early gameplay footage from the “Shinobi Reboot” has also surfaced online, showing off its classic side-scrolling style with fast moves and intense combat scenes. The art style should look familiar to fans, as it keeps that traditional Shinobi feel while adding some new elements.
In this new version, players will have to navigate through a world filled with monsters and ninjas, using the legendary sword Oberozuki to fight off evil forces.
Back in December 2023, Sega announced plans to reboot several of its classic games like “Crazy Taxi,” “Shinobi,” “Jet Set Radio,” “Golden Axe,” and “Streets of Rage.” They shared some of their ideas for these reboots at the time. For instance, “Crazy Taxi” is supposed to capture a sense of freedom and adventure in both urban and natural settings, while “Jet Set Radio” aims to let players feel like rebels pushing back against a restrictive society, building a fanbase and creating a movement.
Well, Sega hasn’t officially commented on the leaked footage yet, but it has definitely gotten fans talking.
