UFL Multiplayer Matches: How to set up multiplayer matches easily

UFL’s main playground is the ranked online matches, where players can pit their skills against one other from across the world. However, while not dissing on these types of matches, something about playing multiplayer with your friends cannot be captured in them. Fortunately, UFL does offer a multiplayer mode, and we think this feature would go a long way in turning over the monopoly of EAFC on virtual football.

UFL only has one primary mode which makes it easier to understand the multiplayer system.

Setting up online matches in UFL

UFL has somewhat different mechanics of multiplayer gameplays that other titles. But the process is straightforward. All you need to do is navigate to the main menu, click on the Online button and select the Casual option.

Here, you are faced with three options: creating a new lobby, joining an existing one or playing against random opponents. You have to create a new lobby, so click on the appropriate button. The system will take a second to generate a unique lobby code. Once you have this code, you can share it with your friends to allow them to join the lobby. Then you can select your teams and start the match.

Local multiplayer matches options in UFL

UFL caters to those who do not want to get out of these couch too. The local multiplayer options include online co-op mode and offline versus mode.

The online co-op mode can be accessed from the Casual Online menu. You would then need to connect another controller to your console. This mode allows players to team up with and compete against players online.

Then we have the easiest multiplayer option in UFL: offline versus mode. All you have to do is hook up as many controllers as there are players to the console. Select your teams and you are good to go. The teams can be either licensed real-world ones or custom UFL squads.

However, you’d find that the selection of licensed teams is not wide ranging. Therefore, using custom teams might be the way to go in local multiplayer matches.

And that is how you set up multiplayer matches in UFL. It’s easy and straightforward and one of the best features of the game.
