Honkai Star Rail Leak for Cipher Kit
Cipher’s story confirms that she’s part of the Chrysos Heirs, a powerful group that rose after the Titans of Amphoreus fell. Right now, only eight of them are known, including Castorice, who’s also set to arrive in 3.2.
Many players think Cipher’s design is inspired by Pardofelis from Honkai Impact 3, which wouldn’t be too surprising. HoYoverse has a habit of using past character designs for new ones. Since Cipher is a Nihility character, she’ll focus on applying debuffs.
A new Reddit post on the Honkai: Star Rail subreddit just spilled all the details about the Cipher kit, revealing it might be built around two key effects: Foretold and Wealth Bond.
HSR Cipher Abilities
The Honkai Star Rail Leak shows a detailed breakdown of Cipher’s abilities. Let’s discuss them.
- Basic Attack (ATK): Cipher delivers Quantum damage to a single enemy, with the damage scaling based on her Attack (ATK) stat.
- Skill: Applies the Foretold effect, dealing Quantum damage based on Cipher’s ATK to the chosen enemy and nearby targets.
- Talent: Cipher’s Talent in Honkai: Star Rail automatically applies the ‘Foretold’ status to a random enemy, prioritizing the one with the highest HP, at the start of an ally’s turn if no enemy currently has it. When allies attack a ‘Foretold’ enemy, Cipher records the damage as ‘Wealth Bond’ and performs a Quantum Follow-up Attack.
- Ultimate: Deals Quantum damage to a single target and inflicts additional True damage on that target and its adjacent enemies, based on the accumulated ‘Wealth Bond’ value. After activation, both the ‘Wealth Bond’ and her Follow-up Attack count are reset.
- Technique: Cipher’s Technique allows her to enter Stealth, increasing movement speed and rendering her undetectable. While in Stealth, she automatically collects nearby Basic Treasures. Initiating combat during Stealth deals Quantum damage to all enemies and records this damage as ‘Wealth Bond’.
Cipher’s Signature Light Cone and Expected Release
Honkai Star Rail Cipher’s signature Light Cone makes her even stronger in battle by boosting her CRIT Rate. When she uses her Skill to attack, it weakens the enemy’s defense.
If the attack lands as a CRIT Hit, the defense reduction is even bigger. This makes her a powerful debuffer, perfect for breaking down tough enemies.
Well, Cipher is expected to arrive in the second phase of HSR 3.3 update, with her banner running from June 11 to July 2, 2025, right after Hyacine’s banner in the first phase.
