League of Legends Patch 13.14 will introduce significant changes, including a new champion named Naafiri, an event, and a new game mode.
Naafiri, a Darkin Assassin, will be released in this patch. She utilizes hounds to help her hunt down and eliminate her targets, designed to be an easier assassin for players.
The new game mode called Arena will be added, featuring a 2v2v2v2 round-based format where players take turns fighting in various arenas. Players can purchase items and select augments, with the last duo standing winning the match.
The early notes for the patch reveal specific changes to several champions, such as Aatrox, Lissandra, Shyvana, Volibear, Xerath, and Zyra. Abilities, ratios, cooldowns, and other factors are adjusted for balance purposes.
There are also changes to certain items in the game, including Runaan's Hurricane, Youmuu's Ghostblade, Galeforce, Infinity Edge, and Trinity Force. These adjustments affect attributes like on-hit damage, lethality, cooldowns, and critical damage.
The Ghost summoner spell receives an increased duration of 15 seconds, but takedowns no longer extend its duration.
Jungle changes include increased gold per takedown, modifications to blue buff ability haste, reduced damage and slow effects of red buff for melee and ranged champions.
