Monster Hunter Wilds dropped on February 28, 2025, and its characters come to life thanks to an amazing lineup of voice actors. 

The game features a mix of talented performers in both English and Japanese, each adding their own unique touch. 

Below is a detailed list of Main Monster Hunter Wilds voice actors:

Aida

Aida is voiced by Anairis Quinones in English and Momoko Taneichi in Japanese, each bringing their own expertise to the role. 

Anairis, an accomplished American voice actress, is known for portraying characters such as Mirko in My Hero Academia, Echidna in Re:Zero, and Nessa in Pokémon: Twilight Wings. 

In the Japanese version, Momoko delivers a compelling performance, having previously voiced Gwess in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Santa in Megalo Box, along with contributions to Jujutsu Kaisen and Urusei Yatsura. 

Alma

Alma, a key character in Monster Hunter Wilds, comes to life through two talented voice actors. 

In English, she’s voiced by Anjali Kunapaneni, an American voice actor and writer known for playing Dori in Genshin Impact and Roy in Pokémon Horizons: The Series

The Japanese version features Sara Matsumoto, who works with Kenyu Office and has voiced characters like Towa Higurashi in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon and Hiro Kurusu in Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life

3. Athos

Athos, a top-tier Long-Haired Palico, fights alongside Olivia and is voiced by Monique Burias Shi in English and Nozomi Tamaki in Japanese. 

Monique Burias Shi has brought life to characters like Naomi Rich in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Stormbringer Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and The Wandering Emperor in SMITE

Nozomi Tamaki has also made her mark, playing roles such as Exorcist Doctors and Maids in Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, a Passerby in Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga, and Kamomaru’s Mother in T・P BON.

4. Fabius

Fabius, the leader of the Hunter’s Guild, is voiced by accomplished actors in both English and Japanese. 

Patrick Seitz lends his voice to the character in the English version, bringing his signature intensity from roles like Jiren in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO and Fenrich in Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.

In the Japanese version, Hiroki Yasumoto takes on the role, drawing from his experience portraying Hyo in Sakamoto Days and Elfman Strauss in Fairy Tail 2. 

5. Gemma

Kristen McGuire and Nanako Mori bring Gemma to life in the game with their amazing voice work. 

Kristen, who also voices Akane Kurokawa in Oshi no Ko and Pirilika in Disgaea 7, shared her excitement about the role on social media. 

Nanako has played Fabienne Lagopus Vulpes in Metaphor: ReFantazio and Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 2

6. Nata

Nata is voiced by Amber May in English and Aino Shimada in Japanese. 

Amber May has played characters like Regina in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Yanqing in Honkai: Star Rail

Aino Shimada has also voiced Tee in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble and young Nagi Umino in A Couple of Cuckoos

7. Nona

If you’ve played Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, then you’ve definitely heard Maya Aoki Tuttle. 

She’s the voice behind Noah Rich in the game. You might also recognize her from Rick and Morty, Dream Productions, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, where she played multiple roles. 

Miu Miyake brings Nona to life. She’s been in the TV mini-series Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night as a student and also has a role in Monster Hunter Wilds. She’s still new to voice acting, but she’s already making a name for herself.

8. Olivia

Alicyn Packard is the voice behind Olivia in Monster Hunter Wilds. She’s an American voice actress, writer, and singer, born on September 27, 1979, in Hanson, Massachusetts. 

You might recognize her as Little Miss Sunshine from The Mr. Men Show or Jibanyan from Yo-kai Watch

In the Japanese version, Sayaka Kinoshita takes on the role of Olivia. Born on July 21, 1981, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, she’s played characters like Lusamine in Pokémon Sun & Moon and Raven in Gravity Rush.

9. Roqul 

Roqul is voiced in English by Mark Whitten, who also played Zhang Liao in Dynasty Warriors: Origins and Percival in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. 

In the Japanese version, Seiyu Fujiwara takes on the role, known for voicing a Militech Soldier in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and a Music Producer in Oshi no Ko. 

10. Werner

If you love Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss, you’ll know Edward Bosco as the original voice of Alastor in the pilot episode. He also brings Striker, Bouncer, Dennis, and a bunch of other characters to life in Helluva Boss. In the gaming world, you might’ve heard him in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth or as Sam Franklin in the Dead Rising remaster.

Eiji Hanawa has been around for a while, too. Naruto fans might remember him as Todoroki from way back in 2006. He’s also voiced Neil Fisher in Resident Evil Revelations 2, Jiren in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and Isao Mabuchi in Solo Leveling: Arise.
