Every Confirmed 007 First Light Character

The developers behind Hitman, IO Interactive, have revealed the cast of their next big game—007 First Light. This new third-person title will dive into James Bond’s early life, portraying him at age 26, just as he joins MI6.

A new trailer has shown off several characters, some familiar to fans and others brand-new to the Bond universe.

James Bond: The Rookie Agent

This version of James Bond is younger and fresh out of the Royal Navy. The game shows him before he earns the full 007 status.

While IOI hasn’t officially announced who voices him, many fans believe Patrick Gibson—known from “Dexter: Original Sin”—might be behind this version of Bond. He certainly looks the part.

Greenway: Bond’s Mentor

One confirmed character is John Greenway, played by Lennie James from The Walking Dead. Greenway is a new face in the Bond world and will act as Bond’s mentor, helping him navigate the dangerous world of MI6.

In the trailer, we even see him in a wild scene hanging over a pit of alligators—classic Bond flair.

M, Q, and Moneypenny — With a Twist

M, the head of MI6, is also shown, though the actor remains unknown.

A character suspected to be Moneypenny appears too—but in a surprising twist, this version may be male, which would be a franchise first. Likewise, Q seems to be reimagined as a woman, guiding Bond through a high-tech lab.

These changes give the game a modern edge while staying rooted in classic roles.

009 and Other Potential Villains

The trailer hints that 009, another MI6 agent, could be the main antagonist. He’s rarely seen in the film series, but his new sinister presence may shake up the story. There are also mentions of new villains and a mysterious character named Isola, though details are still under wraps.

With 007 First Light set to release in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2, more characters and gameplay details will likely emerge soon. For now, fans are eager to see how IOI puts its signature storytelling and stealth expertise into the James Bond legacy.
