Playground Games, the developer behind the Forza Horizon series and the upcoming Fable reboot, seems to have expanded to a third studio. According to their LinkedIn page, they now have three studios, all located in Leamington Spa, UK. However, this is different from their official website, which mentions only two studios.
The exact role of the third studio isn’t clear, but it likely supports the development of Fable. The LinkedIn page states: “In our original HQ, we continue to support and grow the huge, vibrant Horizon community. In our new studios on the other side of town, we are excited to be developing Fable, a new beginning for the legendary franchise.”
Currently, Playground Games has over 40 job openings listed on its website, including positions for artists, engineers, animators, and QA staff. This hiring spree shows they are actively building their teams for both Fable and possibly future Forza projects.
