Numerous fresh leaks of the Honkai Star Rail 2.1 update have surfaced online, revealing new modifications made to Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher’s kit. A reliable leak source named Dimbreath alerted the community on Telegram about the specifics of what appears to be character changes and here we will detail every modification made to Gallagher’s kit, Acheron’s kit, and Aventurine’s kit in the current HSR 2.1 beta.

Honkai Star Rail Acheron’s Kit Changes in 2.1 Beta

As per Dim, the following is a list of all the changes made to Honkai Star Rail Acheron’s kit:

Eidolon 1- Silenced Sky Spake Sooth

  • New – Deals damage to debuffed enemies while granting an 18% increase in CRIT Rate. A stack of Quadrivalent Ascendance, which can stack up to three times, will be given for each stack of Slashed Dream that exceeds the maximum stack size.
  • Old – The CRIT Rate increases by 18% when DMG is given to debuffed enemies.

Eidolon 4 – Shrined Fire for Mirrored Soul

  • New – Inflicts Vulnerability to Ultimate DMG when enemies enter a battle and increase the DMG they take from Ultimates by 12%.
  • Old – When using the Ultimate, inflicts Ultimate DMG Vulnerability to all enemies, increasing the Ultimate DMG taken by 12%, lasting for 3 turn(s).

Technique

Launches an immediate attack, gaining Quadrivalent Ascendance at the start of every wave, dealing 200% of Acheron’s ATK in Lightning DMG to all enemies, and reducing all enemies’ Toughness regardless of Weakness Type. When Weakness Break is applied, it activates the Lightning Weakness Break effect.

Quadrivalent Ascendance – The next time Acheron uses her Ultimate, she gains 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts 1 stack(s) of Crimson Knot on a single random enemy. If a normal enemy is attacked, they will be immediately defeated and will not enter combat. The Technique Point is not spent if the attack does not hit an enemy.

Honkai Star Rail Aventurine’s Kit Changes in 2.1 Beta

According to Dimbreath, the following are the adjustments made to Adventure’s kit in Honkai Star Rail 2.1 beta:

Skill: Cornerstone Deluxe

  • OLD: Provides a Fortified Wager shield that blocks DMG equal to 31.5% of Aventurine’s DEF plus 461 to all allies for 3 turn(s). When gaining Fortified Wager repeatedly, the Shield effect can stack up to 68% of Aventurine’s current DEF plus 923.
  • NEW: Provides a Fortified Wager shield that blocks DMG equal to 31.5% of Aventurine’s DEF plus 461 to all allies for 3 turn(s). When gaining Fortified Wager repeatedly, the Shield effect can stack up to 200% of the Shield effect provided by his current skill.

Technique: The Red or the Black

  • Old: Increases all allies’ DEF by a comparable amount when joining the next battle; this effect lasts for two turns.
  • New: Increases the DEF of all friends by a comparable amount upon joining the next battle, lasting for three turns.

Passive: Bingo!

  • OLD: Aventurine accumulates 1 Blind Bet after an ally with Fortified Wager launches a follow-up attack. This effect can be triggered a maximum of 1 time(s). This effect’s trigger count is reset at the start of Aventurine’s turn. After Aventurine launches a follow-up attack from his Talent, provides Fortified Wager to all allies and blocks DMG equal to 7% of Aventurine’s DEF + 96 DMG, and additionally provides Fortified Wager that can block DMG equal to 7% of Aventurine’s DEF + 96 DMG to the ally with the lowest current Shield effect, lasting for 3 turns.
  • NEW: Aventurine accumulates 1 Blind Bet after an ally with Fortified Wager launches a follow-up attack. This effect can be triggered a maximum of 3 time(s). This effect’s trigger count is reset at the start of Aventurine’s turn. After Aventurine launches a follow-up attack from his Talent, provides Fortified Wager to all allies and blocks DMG equal to 7% of Aventurine’s DEF + 96 DMG, and additionally provides Fortified Wager that can block DMG equal to 7% of Aventurine’s DEF + 96 DMG to the ally with the lowest current Shield effect, lasting for 3 turns.

Passive: Leverage

  • OLD: If Aventurine’s DEF is higher than 1600, then his own CRIT Rate increases by 2% for every 100 DEF exceeding that value, up to an increase of 40%.
  • NEW: If Aventurine’s DEF is higher than 1600, then his own CRIT Rate increases by 2% for every 100 DEF exceeding that value, up to an increase of 48%.

Eidolon 1: Prisoner’s Dilemma

  • OLD: Increases CRIT DMG for allies with Fortified Wager by 20%. The Blind Bet effect obtained from the Trace “Bingo!” no longer has a trigger limit. Requires the Trace “Bingo!” to be unlocked first.
  • NEW: Increases the CRIT DMG of allies with Fortified Wager by 20%. Provide a Fortified Wager Shield to the entire team. The Shield effect equals 100% as that provided by the Skill, lasting for 3 turn(s).

Eidolon 4: Unexpected Hanging Paradox

  • OLD: Upon initiating his Talent’s next attacks, Aventurine’s DEF initially rises by 40% for a duration of two turns. His Talent also boosts the Hits Per Action of the next attack by 1.
  • NEW: Upon activating his Talent’s next attacks, Aventurine’s DEF initially rises by 40% for a duration of two turns. His Talent also boosts the Hits Per Action of the next attack by 3.

Aventurine’s Light Cone buff

  • Old: Enhances wearer’s DEF by 36% and grants 40% CRIT DMG when shielding an ally. A follow-up attack by the wielder has a 100% chance of increasing the target’s DMG by 8% for two rounds.
  • New: The DMG boost is now 10%, while the DEF bonus is now 40%. This means that at the maximum superimposition level, the base chance for the effect to happen will rise to 160%.

Honkai Star Rail Gallagher’s Kit Changes in 2.1 Beta

According to Dimbreath, the following are the modifications made to Gallagher’s kit in Honkai Star Rail 2.1 beta:

Stats (Base)

  • HP: 144 -> 177
  • ATK: 88 -> 72

Eidolon 2 – Lion’s Tail

  • OLD: Deals 8% more Break DMG to targets who are in the Besotted state.
  • NEW: A target ally’s one or more debuffs are removed by the skill. It also raises Effect RES by 30% for two turns at the same time (s).

Traces (Old/New)

  • Break Effect: 37.3% -> 13.3%
  • HP: 10% -> 18%
  • Effect RES: 18% -> 28%

Passive – Novel Concoction

  • OLD: Increases Outgoing Healing of this unit by an amount equal to 30% of Break Effect, up to a maximum Outgoing Healing increase of 75%.
  • NEW: Increases Outgoing Healing of this unit by an amount equal to 50% of Break Effect, up to a maximum Outgoing Healing increase of 75%.

Talent – Tipsy Tussle

  • OLD: The Besotted state increases the Break DMG that targets receive by 6.0% (15.0%). Every time a Besotted target is attacked by an ally, the attacker heals 65 (656) HP.
  • NEW: The Besotted state increases the Break DMG that targets receive by 6.0% (15.0%). Every time a Besotted target is attacked by an ally, the attacker heals 80 (808) HP.

The maximum number of changes have been made to Aventurine’s kit, and if his kit stays in the current state, by accessing the Preservation Path, Aventurine will be able to shield the entire team as the modifications have largely improved this support capacity.
