An update has two banner cycles. In total, there can either be one of two new 5-star characters or three 4-star characters. And after this banner cycle comes to an end, there is a long waiting period for players to go through before they get the opportunity to pull for 5-star characters like these again.

Genshin 3.5 banners
The developers recently held a Genshin 3.5 Livestream where they revealed info on the new 5-star characters coming in Genshin Impact 3.5 banners. It was announced that in the next update, which is version 3.5, we will get three banner re-runs.
As announced during Livestream, the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.5 banners include:
- Dehya banner
- Cyno rerun
- Ayaka rerun
- Shenhe rerun
Dehya and Cyno’s banners, which are included in the Auric Blaze and Twilight Arbiter event wishes, respectively, serve as the starting point for Phase 1 of the 3.5 update. It’s important to note that following the version 3.6 upgrade, Dehya will be accessible via the standard wish banner “Wanderlust Invocation.”
4-star Cryo Polearm user Mika and 5-star Kamisato Ayaka will be highlighted in the “The Heron’s Court” event wish in Phase 2 of the 3.5 banner schedule. This event wish will take place from March 21 to April 11. Moreover, Shenhe’s banner from the 5-star Cryo Polearm event will be displayed in The Transcendent One Returns event wish. Genshin 3.5 Weapon banners leak
As per 77__oat, we will get Dehya’s signature 5-star weapon – Beacon of the Reed Sea and Cyno’s weapon during the first half of the 3.5 patch update, and after that Ayaka and Shenhe’s signature will be a part of 2nd half of the event wish banner.
In addition, five other 4-star weapons will see a significant increase in drop rates. And leakers have shared phase 1 Genshin 3.5 weapon banner weapons. Players will get the following weapons on Genshin Impact 3.5 weapon banner:
- Beacon of the Reed Sea (Claymore)
- Staff of the Scarlet Sands (Polearm)
- The Alley Flash (Sword)
- Alley Hunter (Bow)
