Genshin Impact Chasca Materials Guide: Both Ascension and Talent Mats in 5.2 Update

In the Genshin Impact 5.2 update, there’s a new character coming called Chasca. She’s an Anemo character who fights using a bow, and if you want to make her as strong as possible, you’ll need to gather some specific items. Some of these items are already available, but a few will only be out when the new update drops. So, let’s break down what you’ll need to level up Chasca and where to find these materials.

Genshin Impact Chasca Materials

Here’s a list of Chasca materials you’ll need before the character is released in Genshin Impact 5.2 update:

  • Vayuda Turquoise Sliver x1
  • Vayuda Turquoise Fragment x9
  • Vayuda Turquoise Chunk x9
  • Vayuda Turquoise Gemstone x6
  • New local specialty item x168 (only in the 5.2 update)
  • New boss material x46 (also coming with the update)
  • Juvenile Fang x36
  • Seasoned Fang x96
  • Tyrant’s Fang x129
  • Teachings of Conflict x9
  • Guide to Conflict x63
  • Philosophies of Conflict x114
  • Silken Feather x18
  • Crown of Insight x3

Genshin Impact Chasca Ascension Materials

To level up Chasca, you’ll need different things, some of which you can start collecting now. Here’s a closer look:

  1. Vayuda Turquoise Items: You’ll need different types like Sliver, Fragment, Chunk, and Gemstone. You can get these by defeating Anemo-type bosses like Anemo Hypostasis and Stormterror Dvalin.
  2. Juvenile, Seasoned, and Tyrant’s Fang Items: There are three types: Juvenile, Seasoned, and Tyrant’s Fangs. You can find these by fighting Saurian enemies in the Natlan region. You might also see them in the in-game shop, but it’s a good idea to save your currency for other stuff.
  3. New Local Specialty Item – This is one of the materials that can’t be pre-farmed, as it will be introduced in version 5.2. You’ll need to collect 168 of these items in total to fully ascend Chasca.
  4. Boss Material – Like the local specialty item, this new boss material will also be introduced in version 5.2, and you’ll need 46 of them to max out her ascension.

Genshin Impact Chasca Talent Materials

To level up Chasca’s talents (her special skills), you’ll need a few more items:

  1. Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Conflict: You can farm these books in the Blazing Ruins domain in Natlan on specific days like Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  2. Silken Feather: This item is a drop from a boss called The Knave in Fontaine, and you’ll need 18 of them.
  3. Crown of Insight: This rare item is used to max out any character’s talents. You can get these during special events or as rewards in the game.

Farming Guide for Chasca Materials

If you’re looking to be ready when Chasca arrives, here’s what you can do right now: focus on collecting Vayuda Turquoise items from Anemo-type bosses, and gather the Fang items by fighting Saurians in Natlan. For the talent books, visit the Blazing Ruins domain when it’s open.

Some of Chasca materials won’t be available until the update goes live, but you can start getting a head start on the ones that are already out there.

Overall, Chasca is shaping up to be a pretty cool character in Genshin Impact’s 5.2 update. Her skills let her hover and shoot powerful attacks, which can be super useful in battles. She’s definitely going to be a great addition to any team, especially when you pair her with characters that have different elements.
