Genshin Impact Zhongli and Ganyu reruns will be released in the 3.0 update as per the recent reports coming from reliable leakers.
Genshin Impact is gearing up for what is probably its biggest update ever: Genshin Impact 3.0. The developers have planned it in such a way that its total runtime will be one week shorter than what is usually the trend for Genshin Impact updates. But they have a sword of necessity hanging upon them, it seems, as it is around that time that the second anniversary of the game falls and they want to save the date for an update.
But that isn’t what we want to talk about in this post. What we do want to talk about is which five-star characters are going to be featured in the upcoming banners, as has been revealed by a leak.
It seems HoYoverse has made it a trend to have two re-runs of a single character in one update. And we think it’s a wise move as players can now get their hands on an older character from the roster. To cite an example, the Tapestry of Golden Flames is the current running banner. This will let you acquire the Yoimiya, who’s a Pyro bow user.
However, here in this post, we are going to discuss the Genshin Impact Zhongli and Ganyu reruns coming in the 3.0 update.

Genshin Impact Zhongli and Ganyu rerun leak
The Genshin Impact 3.0 banner reruns leak comes from a popular, and hence reliable, source.
SaveYourPrimos revealed that Zhongli and Ganyu rerun are the two banners that will happen in the upcoming double banner. At the moment, we only have confirmed intel on one character, Tighnari, who is to have a re-run in patch 3.0.
Indirectly, this confirms an unknown re-run. Unknown till this moment, that is. Tighnari is the first ever five-star Dendro character to appear in Genshin Impact. He is a new bow DPS character.
If you are an ardent fan of the game, then you would be able to recall very clearly the frustration you felt when there was that three-week delay during Genshin Impact update 2.6. The point is that there is a real possibility of patch 3.0 being the first in a series of updates that will be cut shorter than the usual runtime to compensate for the delay until the schedule gets back on track.

You might be aware of the possibility of the Genshin Impact 3.0 update having three separate banners: Tighnari banner, and Zhongli and Ganyu reruns. A three-banner event took place way back in Genshin Impact 1.3 as well.
Keqing, Hu Tao, and Xiao were placed on three separate banners. But keep in mind that the first time around, the developers didn’t have the double-banner mechanic.
Are Genshin Impact Zhongli and Ganyu reruns worth it?
Zhongli and Ganyu appear in Genshin Impact update 2.4 before on a double banner. But given that Zhongli can fit into any team composition you name and Ganyu is second to none as a DPS character in the entire game, having a Charged Attack capable of doing tremendous damage, there is nothing to be worried about if this leak does come to pass.
Both of them are S-tier characters and hence having Zhongli and Ganyu rerun will do every player benefit.

In addition to that, we will witness Dori and Collei, two brand-new 4-star characters, arriving in patch Genshin Impact 3.0, alongside Tighnari. You will recognize Collei from the official Genshin Impact manga. She’s been part of it for a long time. The leaks tell us that a unique kit will let her apply Dendro constantly.
