Fans have been waiting for days for Honkai Star Rail version 2.1 after the game’s most recent update left them hanging. HSR 2.1 update will introduce the much anticipated playable characters Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher, who have previously been formally revealed by HoYoverse. Moreover, thanks to the reliable leaker Dimbreath, a new Honkai Star Rail 2.1 leak shows that Acheron, one of the future 5-star characters, has had her kit altered multiple times before her release. Honkai Star Rail Acheron Kit Changes and Buffs From 2.1 Beta
Based on the leaks thus far, Acheron is a 5-Star Lightning character that builds and destroys stacks to do damage in The Nihility Path. Since her personal damage rises when adversaries have numerous debuffs applied, she also performs exceptionally well when using Nihility debuffs. Now, leaked information reveals that notable changes have been made to Acheron’s kit in the version 2.1 beta, indicating a substantial buff.

Acheron’s Talent: Red Oni:
- New: At the beginning of the battle, she immediately gains five points of Slashed Dream and inflicts five stacks of Crimson Knots on a random adversary.
- Old: At the start of the fight, she immediately gains four points of Slashed Dream and inflicts four stacks of Crimson Knots on a random opponent.
Acheron’s Technique:
- New: Launches an immediate attack on the opponent. At the start of each wave, inflicts Lightning damage on all adversaries, reducing their toughness regardless of their Weakness Types. When the Weakness Break status effect is applied, triggering the Lightning Weakness Break effect allows Acheron to gain one point of Slashed Dream while imposing a stack of Crimson Knot on a random enemy during the next Ultimate activation.
If the opponent has Red Karma, they are instantly defeated without entering the fight. Failed attacks do not consume technique points. - Old: Immediately strikes the opponent, gaining two points of Slashed Dream at the start of the battle. Deals Lightning damage equal to 80% of her ATK stat to all adversaries, inflicting two stacks of Crimson Knots on a random opponent.
If the opponent has Red Karma, they are instantly defeated without entering the fight. Failed attacks do not consume technique points.
Acheron’s Eidolon Four: Shrined Fire for Mirrored Soul:
- New: When activating Ultimate, she imposes Ultimate damage vulnerability on all opponents, enhancing the ability’s damage by 12% for three turns.
- Old: When using Ultimate, she imposes Ultimate damage vulnerability on all adversaries, boosting the ability’s damage by 12 for two turns.
Based on the leaks, it seems like, after the changes to Acheron’s kit, she will become more powerful in the game. Also, even though Acheron Banner in version 2.1 will probably feature her as the upgraded 5-Star character, she will eventually make a comeback to Honkai: Star Rail when the Banner schedule returns to her.
