Palworld PS5 Port Coming Soon: Game listed for PS5 at Tokyo Game Show

In case you don’t know, Palworld is this cool game that people often call as “Pokemon with guns.” It came out in early 2024 and became really popular on Steam and Xbox. Players loved this game because it lets you explore a big, open world, catch these cute creatures called Pals, and get into some really fun action-packed battles.

Now, for those who were wishing to play Palworld PS5 version, there’s some good news. A list of games for this year’s Tokyo Game Show has come out, and guess what? It shows Palworld as one of the games for PS5. This is a big deal because, till now, the game was only officially available on PC and Xbox.

The game makers, Pocketpair, had said earlier this year that they were “still discussing” whether to bring Palworld to PlayStation or not, but they didn’t give any clear answer. But now, with this new list from the Tokyo Game Show organizers (CESA), it looks like we might finally hear some big news soon, maybe even before or during the event.

Seeing Palworld on that list with a PS5 label is kind of like a little hint that the developers might be ready to share some real plans. The Tokyo Game Show starts on September 26, and PlayStation is gonna have a big presence there. So, it makes a lot of sense that they might use this event to announce the game coming to PS5.

Well, Palworld has been a great success since its launch in early 2024, becoming one of the year’s best new games. The game has had lots of updates too, like new content and fixes for any problems. Just recently, they added a big update with a new area to explore and new Pals to catch. So, if the devs do announce a PS5 version, it could come with even more cool stuff.

Now, even if Palworld PS5 does happen, don’t get your hopes up for a Nintendo Switch version anytime soon. The developers have already made it clear that a Switch version is “off the table.” Right now, they seem to be focusing on bringing the game to the PS5, which could help it reach even more players.

But hey, we should stay a bit cautious too. The game list from the Tokyo Game Show isn’t always spot-on; sometimes there are mistakes or last-minute changes. So, while seeing Palworld PS5 listing is definitely exciting, it doesn’t mean it’s 100% happening. We will have to wait and see if Pocketpair confirms the news.
