“It always makes me laugh to see these articles like ‘Walmart Canada says the price is going to be this.’ Walmart Canada is the last people that are gonna know,” he said.
Basically, those placeholder prices you see online? They’re just guesses, not real info from Nintendo.
Stores put these numbers in their systems before they get the real price from the manufacturer. It’s not some insider secret—just a rough estimate to keep things organized. Take Costco Canada, for example. They recently listed a new Nintendo Switch model at $499.99 CAD, but that doesn’t mean it’s the final price.
So, if you see a placeholder price, don’t take it too seriously. The real price will come straight from Nintendo when it’s ready.
