Former NFL player Blake Martinez has found success in the trading card business, particularly with Pokemon TCG cards.

Martinez retired from the NFL in 2022 at the age of 28 and started his own trading card company called Blake's Breaks.

He developed a passion for Pokemon cards during the COVID-19 pandemic and decided to turn it into a business.

Through card sales and streaming content where he opens Pokemon TCG boxes, as well as Yu-Gi-Oh! and sports trading card sets, Martinez has earned millions of dollars.

He revealed that he made over $11 million from selling Pokemon cards, with his business earning him over $6 million in just eight months.

Martinez's notable sales include a Pokemon Illustrator card that sold for $672,000 and another that earned him $570,000.

While Martinez enjoyed playing football, he appreciates the long-term sustainability of his trading card business and the opportunity to run his own team.
