The crossover trend in Call of Duty started with custom bundles for NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman, but they were later removed due to controversy.
Despite the initial setback, Activision may continue their plans for celebrity crossovers.
Dataminers discovered references to future celeb Operators in the code after the Season 4 Reloaded update on July 12.
Prominent dataminer 'HeyImAlaix' on Twitter shared that 21 Savage and Nicki Minaj may be receiving custom Operator bundles.
The leaker assures that both celebrities are "100%" in store for Operator skins.
Previous celebrity bundles included custom weapon Blueprints, so there is a possibility that these bundles will offer similar content.
If the leaks are accurate, 21 Savage and Nicki Minaj would be the first playable musicians in Call of Duty.
More details about the Operator bundles and their release are yet to be revealed.
