Payday studio Starbreeze is making a Dungeons and Dragons live service game.
The game is codenamed Project Baxter and is set to be released in 2026.
It will be a co-op multiplayer game and will feature cross-play support.
The game will be published by Starbreeze for "all major platforms".
Starbreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren says that the game is a "perfect pairing" for the company and the franchise.
Wizards of the Coast senior VP of digital strategy and licensing Eugene Evans is confident that Starbreeze will create an "amazing" game.
