Enthusiasts believe Sea of Thieves’ recent tweet suggests possible PlayStation and Switch versions

Sea of Thieves’ official account posted a cryptic Valentine’s Day message that fans are interpreting as a hint at upcoming PlayStation and Switch ports.

The tweet mentioned rowboats being red, blue, green, and occasionally white - colors associated with Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and the neutral PC format respectively.

Numerous replies to the tweet suggest it’s a reference to recent reports that Sea of Thieves could be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo systems.

Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb and Stephen Totilo, former Kotaku editor, have both indicated that Sea of Thieves might be coming to other platforms.

Stephen Totilo mentioned in his industry newsletter that Microsoft has considered bringing Sea of Thieves to PlayStation, possibly for an early 2024 release.

Microsoft has announced plans to deliver an Xbox business update on February 15, potentially addressing the speculation about bringing more games to rival platforms.
