Fortnite announced a new game mode, LEGO Raft Survival, which brings multiplayer problem-solving and mixes it with the well-known LEGO Pirates theme. The pirate Blackbeard will challenge players to stay afloat on a raft while being shot at with cannon balls from the Barracuda Ship. Collecting wood and treasures as resources will help you build more rafts and keep the game going
The second LEGO Fortnite theme will be an obstacle course. Players will have to climb and solve problems. Epic Games promises “brick of worrisome walkways, hazardous hills, and perilous paths”. You can pair up with up to 9 other players who will help you with this challenge. There will be over 300 levels to complete.
The Levels in LEGO Obby Fun will be inspired by classic LEGO themes, such as LEGO City and LEGO DREAMZzz.
Lego Raft Survival and Lego Obby Fun have already been released and they’re already playable in Fortnite. You don’t have to pay extra to access this gameplay. Just find the mode you wish to try out on your home screen, under LEGO, and enjoy!
Epic Games promises this is just the beginning for LEGO x Fortnite which turned into a huge success. Both LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival keep expanding, bringing in new audiences to the game. More modes will follow in Lego Raft Survival and Lego Obby Fun’s footsteps.
