Jennifer Lawrence’s Wedding Revelations and Life Updates:  A Journey from Stress to Joy

Jennifer Lawrence detailed her “stressful” wedding to Cooke Maroney, which took place in Newport, Rhode Island, in October 2019. She described the experience as “awful” due to the stress of ensuring her guests were having fun.

Lawrence was particularly concerned about her guests’ comfort, especially regarding the cold weather. Despite reassurances from friends, her mother confirmed that it was indeed freezing.

Lawrence’s co-star from Silver Linings Playbook, Robert De Niro, attended the rehearsal dinner. However, Lawrence, noticing De Niro’s discomfort, advised him to go home, which made her feel better.

Lawrence and Maroney began dating in June 2018, got engaged in February 2019, and were married in October 2019. Their wedding was attended by several celebrities, including Adele, Amy Schumer, Emma Stone, and Kris Jenner.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Cy, in February 2022. Around the same time, Lawrence’s longtime friend Robert De Niro also welcomed a child.

Post-Baby Gift to De Niro: When asked if she had sent De Niro a post-baby present, Lawrence revealed that she had sent over a baby nurse, a gesture that was applauded by host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
