Mandalorian Game Is In The Works For Xbox By Doom Developer - Rumour

According to leaker eXtas1s, Doom developer id Software is rumored to be working on a Mandalorian video game exclusively for Xbox consoles, targeting a 2024 or 2025 release date.

Known for its FPS title Doom and other popular First-person shooter games like Quake and Wolfenstein, id Software has a successful track record and experience with FPS titles, making it a strong candidate to handle a Mandalorian Star Wars game.

The game will reportedly be an Xbox exclusive, giving the brand a slight edge over PlayStation and Sony.

Recently, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, which was going to be exclusive to PlayStation 5, was canceled, causing disappointment among fans.

With the cancellation of the Knights of the Old Republic remake, Microsoft now has a licensed Star Wars game lined up as an Xbox Series X|S exclusive, while Sony does not.

The Mandalorian TV series on Disney+ has garnered a large fanbase. If this Star Wars game is developed well, it could bring significant success to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
