Sony San Diego has officially announced that MLB The Show 24 will launch on March 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass, providing another platform for players to enjoy the game.
Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. graces the cover of this year’s game, becoming the second Toronto Blue Jays player to be featured on the cover after Josh Donaldson for MLB The Show 16.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also joins his father, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., as the first father-son duo to be featured on the game’s cover.
Sony San Diego’s Ramone Russell shared that they look for great baseball players with interesting stories and fun personalities who genuinely enjoy playing MLB The Show. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s love for the game, baseball family background, and community involvement made him the right choice for this year’s cover athlete.
Sony has yet to announce the full feature list for MLB The Show 24, but the information will be coming soon. The reveal of the game’s Collector’s Edition is next on the list, scheduled for February.
