Muhammad Ali to Feature in WWE 2K24

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali will be a playable character in WWE 2K24. The announcement was made in a new gameplay trailer for the game, showcasing Ali’s in-ring abilities

The trailer highlights the game’s 40 Years of WrestleMania Showcase mode and introduces new match types including the ambulance match, casket match, and guest referee match. It ends with a glimpse of Ali standing ringside and throwing punches in the ring.

Ali was involved in the first-ever WrestleMania main event as a referee. It’s unclear if this match will feature in the Showcase mode, potentially including its four competitors – Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Paul ‘Mr Wonderful’ Orndorff, and Mr T.

Ali has also recently appeared as a playable fighter in UFC 5, alongside Mike Tyson, demonstrating his enduring popularity in the world of sports gaming.

WWE 2K24 will be released on March 8 and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who pre-order any edition of the game will receive the Nightmare Family Pack, which includes two alternate versions of Cody Rhodes, the 1976 version of Dusty Rhodes, and Superstar Billy Graham.

The inclusion of Muhammad Ali in WWE 2K24 is a testament to his enduring legacy in the world of sports. The game continues the tradition of the well-received WWE 2K series and is eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide.
