Leaked videos and images of the Sony Project Q, a handheld streaming device for PlayStation 5, have surfaced online.
The leaked images suggest that the Project Q runs on the Android operating system and resembles the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller in design.
The Project Q was announced on May 24, 2023, and is set to be released in late 2023.
It features an 8-inch LCD HD screen and complete compatibility with the DualSense controller's buttons and functionalities.
The primary purpose of the Project Q is to enable seamless streaming from the PlayStation 5 to the handheld device using Remote Play technology.
The physical design of the Project Q is reminiscent of the Wii U, with a large center screen and controller pads on either side.
It is expected to output at 1080p and 60 fps, placing it above Nintendo's Switch and Valve's Steam Deck in terms of specs.
