Smite 2 announced during  Smite World Championships

Dataminers have allegedly uncovered evidence pointing to the impending announcement of Smite 2, a follow-up to the 2014 third-person MOBA, Smite.

Since its release almost a decade ago, Smite has maintained a consistent audience, despite not reaching the magnitude of League of Legends or Dota 2.

Recently, two topics surfaced that have fans looking tentatively towards an imminent announcement of a follow-up title.

A post reportedly surfaced on the Russian Steam storefront discussing Smite 2, but it was quickly removed. However, it was captured by gamers and shared on Reddit.

Dataminers found references in Smite to a ‘Smite 2 Founders Pack’. It’s claimed that this pack will be available during Smite’s 2024 birthday event on March 25.

Fans are expecting some kind of grand reveal this weekend during the tenth edition of the game’s World Championship tournament in Atlanta, Georgia.
