The Outlaw: VALORANT’s First New Weapon Since Launch

The first new weapon to land in Riot Games’ VALORANT since its 2020 release could be the ‘Outlaw’. This sniper rifle sits between the Marshal and the Operator on the cost spectrum and boasts abilities similar to the Shorty.

The Outlaw is expected to arrive in Episode 8, which is due to begin on January 10, 2024.

It has taken Riot Games more than three years to add a new weapon to VALORANT. This game is more focused on its ‘Agents’ than its weapons, with each Agent boasting unique abilities and powers.

The same weapons tend to be used by players, whether they’re newcomers to the competitive title or pro players in VALORANT’s esports scene.

The new VALORANT weapon, the Outlaw, is suggested to be priced at 2,400 credits, placing it between the lesser-used Marshal (950) and the powerful Operator (4,700).

The Outlaw is claimed to kill ‘half-armoured’ enemies in a single shot and can fire two shots at once. If both hit, it’ll do around 140 body damage, making it a formidable weapon.
