Black Friday 2023 is almost here, and we are just one month away from the much-anticipated shopping extravaganza. And now according to a reliable leaker, billbil-kun, Microsoft is expected to slash the price of the Xbox Series X by €150.
As revealed by billbil-kun in a recent post, the Xbox Series X price might get reduced by €150, bringing the price down to €399 for the upcoming holiday season. If a similar discount is extended to the United States, the console might be available for $350.
This marks the first promotional offer following the price hike that occurred in August. Just as a reminder, the recommended retail price saw a €50 increase, rising from 499 euros to 549 euros.
The leaker disclosed that they came across this promotion listed by two French merchants. This suggests that the offer is part of a promotional campaign orchestrated by Microsoft and should be accessible through all authorized resellers.
This Black Friday Sale will start from November 20 to 27, 2023 and we might get this offer from at least two authorized resellers.
It’s worth noting that as of now, Sony’s new slim PlayStation 5 does not appear to be part of any discounts.
Additionally, billbil-kun suggests that certain retailers, like Auchan, might sweeten the deal by offering an extra €10 on a loyalty card, potentially resulting in a final price of €389.99. However, Microsoft has not yet officially announced its Black Friday and 2023 holiday shopping season deals for the Xbox Series X.
It’s highly likely that there could be additional discounts depending on the specific retailers.
