Revealed at The Game Awards last December, Jurassic Park: Survival teased fans with its thrilling gameplay. The game is developed by Saber Interactive with Universal, this game promises to immerse players in a world of dinosaurs and danger.

Now, Saber and Universal, in an interview, have unveiled more details, including new characters, locations, and dinosaurs, and this game aims to deliver an unforgettable experience that expands on the original film. Let’s jump into the details.

Jurassic Park Survival: Isla Nublar Island, New Characters, and Dinosaurs

Jurassic Park: Survival takes place on Isla Nublar, the island from the 1993 film. The game starts the day after the events of the movie. Players play as Maya Joshi, a scientist from InGen who got left behind on the island.

As Maya, you have to explore the park, which is full of dinosaurs. Your goal is to survive and find a way to leave the island. Alongside Maya, the game will also introduce other new characters to make the story richer.

When it comes to dinosaurs, the game will feature both the famous ones from the movies and some exciting new ones. The developers have hinted that there will be “special dinosaurs” not seen in the movies, which will surprise and excite players.

This exciting adventure lets you experience Jurassic Park in a completely new and thrilling way.

Jurassic Park Survival Locations: New and Familiar Areas

Players will get to revisit famous places from the 1993 movie, as well as discover new ones. The game’s setting allowed developers to explore places mentioned but not shown in the film, like distant buildings and visitor accommodations. The well-known locations might be different now due to what happened in the movie.

John Melchior, executive producer at Universal Products & Experiences while discussing the locations and areas in the interview said, “We have been working with all our stakeholders on what the island would have looked like after the events of the film. This includes areas we all love like the Visitor’s Center and the T-Rex paddock. But also, what we didn’t see, things that were not part of the tour or got cut off by the storm.”

John mentioned that visitors were meant to stay overnight, so they are thinking about what that would involve — what the visitors might have seen and where the visitors would have stayed if everything had gone according to plan.

John said, “That is where we are starting. One thing is certain – the island is as much a part of the story as the characters and dinosaurs.”

Jurassic Park: Survival Gameplay

While the developers haven’t seen the gameplay yet, Oliver Hollis-Leick, creative director at Saber Interactive, explained how exploring the island will be.

Jurassic Park: Survival’s gameplay aims to be engaging and tough, giving players a unique adventure on Isla Nublar. The island has various terrains, each with its own difficulties. Players must navigate these terrains, avoiding dinosaurs and other dangers. The game encourages exploration and survival skills, pushing players to think quickly and plan their moves carefully.

Overall, Jurassic Park: Survival looks like it will be a really exciting new game in the Jurassic Park series. It has fun gameplay, new characters, and a different way of looking at Isla Nublar. The game promises to give players a unique and memorable adventure.

We’re all waiting to hear more about it and when it will come out as it could be a big success in adventure gaming.
