Sony has anniunced that Ghost of Yotei aka Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be releaing in 2025, having new protagonist, setting, and story.
Sony recently announced a new game called Ghost of Yotei. It’s the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, but it’s coming out in 2025. The cool part is, this game happens a long time after the first one – like 300 years later. It’s a big shift in setting and story. Instead of Jin, the guy from the first game, we now have a new hero named Atsu. She’s a tough female warrior, and the game takes place near Mount Yotei in Hokkaido, which is in Japan.
Ghost of Yotei Trailer Revealed
In the trailer, we see Atsu going on a journey through forests, valleys, and even snowy fields. She has a pet wolf with her (which is pretty awesome), and it seems like she’s on a mission to hunt down someone, but we don’t know exactly what she’s trying to do. A man in the trailer also tells her she’s being hunted by ronin, which are samurai without a master. So, yeah, it’s going to be dangerous for her.
Sucker Punch says that unlike Ghost of Tsushima, where the story was about protecting the island from invaders, this game lets you explore a big open world, which includes grasslands and snowy places. The creators, Sucker Punch, said it will be full of unexpected dangers. It’s like the old game, but with new stuff to make it feel fresh. Atsu’s journey is going to be different, but they have kept some things fans loved, like exploring and the samurai vibe. They’ve also introduced new gameplay mechanics and weapons to make this experience feel both familiar and new.
Platfroms and Release Date of Ghost of Yotei
The game will only be on the PlayStation 5, and it’s going to use all the power of the PS5 to look amazing. The graphics in the trailer are really good, and oh, and they’re also optimizing it for the new PS5 Pro, so it’ll look even better on that.
The release date is set for 2025 and it is going to be one of the most visually impressive games when it comes out.
Well, the first Ghost of Tsushima was super popular because of its beautiful world, great combat, and interesting story. People loved it so much that they made extra content and even a multiplayer mode and a director’s cut. So, it is a given that fans can’t wait for this new game, especially with all the new things coming, like Atsu’s story and how the game will play.
