A recent leak has revealed the agenda of The Game Awards 2024, but fans don’t seem excited about the possible announcements.
The Game Awards are among the biggest annual awards in the world, honoring achievements in the video game industry. This year, it is set to happen on 12 December. Around two weeks to go and leaks about what is about to go down in the event have made it online.
The leak comes from Just Play it, touted as Algeria’s largest network dedicated to video games. However, a disclaimer is needed. These leaks broadly cover the major points of The Game Awards. They are not specific nor do they describe any item in detail. That being said, let’s dive right in!
The Game Awards 2024 Agenda Leak
First up, The Game Awards 2024 will feature something related to God of War. That is pretty much all the information about that item. Then, the event will proceed to a Rise of the Ronin DLC announcement.
Then, Josef Faras, the CEO and founder of Hazelight Studios, will reveal the release date of Split Fiction, the latest title from the developer of It Takes Two and A Way Out. This will be followed by the confirmation of the release date of Crimson Desert.
Then, the release date of The First Beserker Khazan and the Dune Awakening will be announced. Finally, The Game Awards will be rounded up by a showcase of two Chinese games and The Perceiver. This final item could also happen at PlayStation.
The reaction to this leak from the public has been somewhat startling. From the comments to this leak, people seemed to be downright bored of The Game Awards 2024’s agenda. Perhaps this is the effect of the current slump in the video game industry. However, we think this is too harsh of a judgment. It would maybe be better to judge the event after the live stream.
