Honkai Star Rail Leaks Reveal Hyacine and Cipher Gameplay Details

Honkai Star Rail leaks are stirring up excitement, teasing two new characters—Hyacine and Cipher—in the upcoming Version 3.3 update.

Hyacine is rumored to be a Wind Remembrance character, known for her speed and ability to heal teammates using her own HP. On the other hand, Cipher might be a Quantum Nihility character, specializing in extra damage and crit-heavy attacks.

If these leaks are true, they could bring some exciting changes to the game’s strategy and team builds.

Let’s take a closer look at what this could mean for players.

Background on Recent Updates

On February 25, 2025, Honkai: Star Rail released its Version 3.1 update, Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne, bringing a wealth of new content.

The main storyline expands with a new Trailblaze Mission, allowing players to explore previously unseen locations such as the Murmuring Woods – Grove of Epiphany and the Sanctum of Prophecy in Janusopolis.

Two new five-star characters enter the game—Tribbie, a Quantum Harmony character, and Mydei, an Imaginary Destruction character—offering fresh strategic possibilities. Previously, four-star character Moze, a Lightning Hunt unit, was released in Version 2.5.

On top of that, a formidable new boss, the Flame Reaver of the Deepest Dark, presents a new challenge. The Divergent Universe mode also receives updates, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

Now, recent Honkai Star Rail leaks suggest that Amphoreus’ cast is expanding with new members. There’s a lot to uncover, so let’s jump straight into it.

Details of Honkai Star Rail leaks

So, the Honkai Star Rail leak was originally shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker HxG via fellow leaker Luna. The leak has spilled exciting details about upcoming characters Hyacine and Cipher

Hyacine is expected to be a Wind Remembrance character with a high-speed playstyle, utilizing a unique mechanic where she sacrifices her own HP to restore allies’ health.

Cipher, on the other hand, is speculated to be a Quantum Nihility character specializing in extra damage, with her effectiveness primarily scaling through critical hit statistics.

These details suggest that Hyacine may introduce an innovative healing mechanic, while Cipher could become a key crit-based damage dealer within the Nihility path.

This Honkai Star Rail leak might also hint at the banner order for Version 3.3, with Hyacine possibly dropping in the first half and Cipher arriving in the second.

Character Appearances in the Game

Talking about the characters, Honkai: Star Rail follows different timelines and approaches to introduce characters.

Hyacine became a playable character in Version 3.1, taking an active role in the main storyline and playing a key part in the “Awooo Firm” event. Cipher, in contrast, has yet to make an in-game appearance.

So far, she has only been featured in promotional materials released before Amphoreus’ debut, hinting at her eventual arrival.

This kind of slow rollout isn’t new. Recent Honkai Star Rail leaks already gave fans a sneak peek at the gameplay of both Hyacine and Cipher before they’re fully introduced.

Upcoming Content and Celebrations

As Honkai: Star Rail nears its second anniversary, Version 3.2 will introduce a variety of special events and rewards. Players can expect generous in-game items such as Stellar Jades, Self-Modeling Resin, and other valuable resources.

To mark this occasion, a series of engaging activities will be available, offering exciting opportunities for participation.

This update will also introduce Castorice, a highly awaited Quantum Remembrance DPS character.

With so much happening, this update is set to make the anniversary even more fun and memorable for everyone.
