Release Date of Assassin’s Creed Shadows
According to a reliable leaker, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is slated for release on November 15, 2024. This information was initially shared by Andreaalex2001 and later reaffirmed by Wario64, a well-known source for gaming leaks.
Ubisoft confirmed that the AC Shadows cinematic trailer will premiere on May 15, and this marks the first time Ubisoft has announced a game’s release date via its official YouTube channel. However, the interesting part is, that the eagle-eyed viewers were able to the release date of Creed Shadows in the trailer premier placeholder, which has now been removed.
Platforms for Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Recent leaks suggest that older consoles such as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 may not be compatible with AC Shadows. The game is rumored to be exclusive to current-gen consoles like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and high-end PCs.

AC Shadows is rumored to feature two main protagonists: Yasuke, a male samurai, and Naoe, a female shinobi.
Recent leaks from j0nathan provide further details on the characters’ backstories, including Yasuke’s journey from being a slave on a ship to his eventual encounter with Oda Nobunaga, while Naoe’s narrative revolves around seeking revenge for her family’s murder at the hands of the Templars.
Yasuke’s character is said to draw inspiration from a real-life warrior, exploring themes of slavery and his rise to prominence as a samurai under Oda Nobunaga. The leaker claims that the ship was invaded by a group of men and everyone—including his wife—was killed, and he was left for dead for days before he was found and brought to a temple in Japan. There, he learns about the samurai while in the service of Oda Nobunaga.
The leaker also speculates we’ll get to see his death happen since he historically died in 1597.
Talking about Naoe, the leaker said that her backstory revolves around the Order killing her father, which pushes her to join the shinobi/Assassins.

Based on leaks, the game is expected to feature two expansion packs, each priced at $25. Players can purchase the Season Pass, which includes both DLCs, for $40. About the Helix credits, the pack costs start at $5 and go all the way up to $50.
Lastly, the base game is anticipated to retail at $59.99 upon launch and the pre-orders are rumored to be titled “Thrown to the Dogs,” though specifics regarding its contents remain unclear.
