Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Trailer, Platforms, and Release Date Leaked

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics when it first launched in 2018, the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance proved to be a commercial success, hence the anticipation for the sequel was high. And now thanks to fresh leaks, we now have a trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and know that it will be released later in 2024.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Trailer

The release window and a sneak peek at the trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 were briefly leaked before the official announcement as IGN accidentally posted the trailer on their website’s video player, confirming its upcoming release later this year.

The leaked teaser, clocking in at just 20 seconds, offers a glimpse into the world of the sequel, featuring an older Henry—the protagonist of the first game—complaining about his desire to “become more than a peasant.” He faces challenges to a sword battle, torture, and imprisonment.

While it’s a short snippet, it seems to have the themes and tone of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, where Henry found himself involved in the brutal conflicts of the Bohemia region.

Although IGN swiftly removed the video from their website, players can still check out the teaser trailer on Reddit.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date and Platforms

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will come on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, according to the leaked video. However, neither the Nintendo Switch nor any platform from earlier generations will support the game.

Fans of the franchise had speculated that the sequel might not arrive until 2025, but the leak suggests otherwise, hinting at a potential release as early as this year (2024). However, no precise release date was disclosed, even if the teaser gave us hope for an early release.

While we did get a leak, Warhorse Studios, the brains behind the franchise, plans to pull back the curtain on their new creation at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 7 pm BST / 8 pm CEST.

While the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance took players on an epic adventure in the Holy Roman Empire, details about its sequel remain scarce. However, if we had to guess, we’d assume that the sequel would drop us into the midst of yet another brutal conflict.
