In a recent live stream, gaming insider Brazil dropped a new hint about an upcoming PS5 exclusive game from the renowned developer FromSoftware.
There’s been a buzz that an undisclosed PS5 exclusive game is being developed by FromSoftware.
This rumor surfaced from an insider known as Brazil, also recognized as Vergeben or Verge, who shared new details during a live stream. Then the leak was further shared by Guaraná on ResetEra.
The insider did not reveal much but did inform that FromSoftware was deep in the throes of developing the next Sony exclusive.
This rumor is further supported by an earlier leak from years back that’s been floating around for quite some time. It was hinted that the studio was in the process of creating an unannounced PS5 exclusive that had no connections to either Bloodborne or Demon Souls. What makes it particularly interesting is the claim that this PS5 exclusive game from FromSoftware will supposedly have more of a Souls-like essence than Elden Ring and Sekiro.

Well, Vergeben or Verge has a mixed track record. They’ve been on point about details for games like Smash Ultimate and Mortal Kombat 11, among others. So, if this leak is true, it would certainly be an exciting development following the massive success of Elden Ring and Armored Core 6.
The new PS5 exclusive game from FromSoftware might be Bloodborne 2 or Spellbound
Though we have some past leaks on this PS5 exclusive game from FromSoftware, there is another possibility that Vergeben’s leak might refer to Bloodborne 2 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. This speculation gained traction due to reports that Sony is supposedly working on a Bloodborne movie on the down-low, with producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and writer Darren Lemke on board.
Another possibility is that this undercover FromSoftware project might be Spellbound, rumored to be unveiled in June 2024, with a purported release date set for Q1 2025.
However, Spellbound game being the new PS5 exclusive title from FromSoftware has low chances as previous rumours have claimed that it won’t be available only on the PS5 and will launch on other next-gen consoles too.
