Jez Corden of WindowsCentral recently hinted on Twitter that the State of Decay 3 might show up at the Xbox Showcase in June. “I’m excited about Gears 6 for the June Xbox Showcase, but there’s another game whose state I’m incredibly excited to learn more about,” Corden said to Twitter.
Furthermore, earlier in the day, various journalists and insiders revealed that Gears of War 6 would be featured at the Xbox Showcase this summer. This leads to speculation that the State of Decay 3 might also share the spotlight during the mentioned Xbox event.
Well, the reveal of Gears of War 6 this summer seems highly likely, with several insiders supporting this claim. Initially, Journalist Jeff Grubb claimed that Microsoft and Xbox would reveal Gears 6 in the summer. Later, Grubb’s claims were corroborated by Tom Warren, which strengthened the rumors around Gears 6’s reveal. Additionally, insider NateTheHate expressed confidence in Gears 6 making an appearance at the Xbox event, while industry insider Shinobi602 hinted at the game’s stunning visuals that are expected to captivate players.
Microsoft now regards the Xbox Games Showcase as a premium event for their customers. These events are nothing new that other gaming companies haven’t done before, but Microsoft has really marked its victory. As we’ve seen, Microsoft’s long-awaited titles are finally being released. With Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II almost nearing its launch, Xbox players can now anticipate Gears of War 6 making an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase in June.
As for State of Decay 3, Microsoft first revealed the details of the title during Xbox Games Showcase 2020.
