During Sony’s CES 2024 press conference, viewers got updates on the progress of the God of War and Horizon TV series. It was revealed that the script for the God of War TV series is well under development and the event also included a sneak peek at the inaugural footage from the upcoming Gravity Rush movie.
Katherine Pope, speaking at the Sony panel during CES 2024, expressed enthusiasm about the projects: “We’re also delighted to have writing underway on two new IP-based projects God of War for Prime Video and Horizon Zero Dawn at Netflix. Those are coming along with a few other highly anticipated series, including the fourth season of The Boys, and the final season of Cobra Kai.”
The President of Sony Pictures Television, Katherine Pope, also brought attention to the fact that the Horizon Zero Dawn TV adaptation is being produced for Netflix.
Implying that the God of War TV series will be available to stream on Amazon Prime and that the Horizon-based series will premiere on Netflix.
Fans are left speculating about the casting choices for these projects. Will Kratos be portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, or will Christopher Judge reprise his role as the legendary Spartan? Unfortunately, there are no answers to these questions yet, and the only option is to await further announcements.
