What is the release date of the Genshin Impact 3.5 update?

This item of information is official.

February 28th, 2023, has been announced as the official Genshin Impact 3.5 release date. Also, this time, the patch will run for six weeks, after a certain gap of a five-week patch schedule.

With that length in mind, we can say that patch 3.6 will end on April 11, 2023.

Who all are coming in Genshin Impact 3.5 Banners?

You may have heard that patch 3.5 will introduce some new characters and events in the game. Well, there will be two new characters in this update, one of which will hail from the Sumeru region, and the second, Knights of Favonius will belong to Mondstadt City.

Also, there is to be an event in Mondstadt in this patch. Given this, the following characters have reasonable chances of being featured in the reruns: Cyno, Eula, and Albedo.

As to the weapon banner, there will be two new 5-star weapons in the Epitome Invocations of Genshin Impact 3.5. These will be the signature weapons of Dehya and Mika. We will discuss this in detail below.

Who are the new Genshin Impact 3.5 characters?

As mentioned, there are to be two new characters in Genshin Impact 3.5. One is a 5-star character and the other one is a 4-star support character. The weapons they carry have drawn inspiration from the recently introduced Sumeru desert area.

Here’s a general description of the two characters: Dehya and Mika.

Dehya

Dehya is a 5-star character with Pyro powers. She girths a claymore to fight her opponents with.

Dehya is a well-known mercenary warrior who is brave without being rash and strong without being arrogant. Dehya’s life in the harsh desert environment has allowed her to accumulate a great deal of combat wisdom through various battles, and she is far from your typical arrogant and ignorant martial artist.

Dehya’s elemental skill deals a leaping attack that deals AoE Pyro DMG before regenerating a Fiery Sanctum field at her new location. Because the Eremite faction has a long history in the game’s Sumeru region, it’s safe to say she’ll play a significant role in the region’s story.

Mika

Mika is the only new 4-star character being released in Genshin Impact 3.5. He has a Polearm for a weapon.

Mika, a member of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company, always performs all of his duties with zeal. Mika’s dedication to work is not due to a weak personality or an inability to say no, but rather to the importance he places on teamwork and a genuine desire to learn from his more experienced colleagues.

Mika uses his elemental skill to attack with his crossbow, granting nearby active characters in his party Soulwind, which increases their ATK SPD.

Which are the new Genshin Impact 3.5 weapons?

You will see new weapons galore in Genshin Impact 3.5. The weapon banners will have 5-star additions and also a free Claymore. Both these Genshin 3.5 weapons are described below.

Beacon of the Reed Sea (5-star Sword; signature weapon of Dehya)

  • Base ATK: 45.94
  • Base Substat: 7.2% Crit Rate
  • Passive (R5): After an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, your ATK will be increased by 40% for 8s. After you take DMG, your ATK will be increased by 40% for 8s. The 2 effects above can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, your character’s Max HP will be increased by 64%.

Mailed Flower (4-star Claymore; free event weapon)

  • Base ATK: 43.73
  • Base Substat: 24 Elemental Mastery
  • Passive (R5): Within 8s after an Elemental Skill hits an opponent or triggers an Elemental Reaction, ATK and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 24% and 96 respectively.

The main event in Genshin Impact 3.5 will fetch you a Claymore called Mailed Flower. The entire focus of this weapon would be to increase the EM. The secondary and passive will be oriented toward this goal as well.

Who are the new enemies in Genshin Impact 3.5?

It seems we are going ancient with Sumeru. Two new enemies, both based on old technologies, will be introduced in patch 3.5. These new Genshin Impact 3.5 enemies are described below:

Abyss Herald: Frost Fall

Abyss Herald: Frost Fall is a monster from the Abyss Order that fights with frigid, icy blades.

Abyss Herald: Frost Fall description states, “Envoys must correct any twisted strains and remove any dissonance, just as saints will spread and glorify the profound gospel. Steel is said to feel like ice when it pierces the body, but this dark frost is said to freeze even the soul.”

Black Serpent Knight: Rockbreaker Ax

Black Serpent Knight: Rockbreaker Ax is a court guard of some renown, severing the enemies of the nation’s rulers with a sword art known as “Truthseeker.”

According to the description of the Black Serpent Knight: Rockbreaker Ax, “Though Truthseeker is strictly speaking a sword art, its teachings can also be used in various other weapons — and in the realm’s darkest hour, those who had to protect their homeland had little room to be fussy anyway.”
