New GTA 6 Details Revealed by Ex-Rockstar Employee

Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has created immense anticipation among gamers worldwide, but Rockstar Games has kept details under wraps despite confirming the game’s development. While GTA 6 leaks have hinted at a return to Vice City, the inclusion of a female protagonist, and various gameplay updates, fans are eagerly awaiting an official trailer from Rockstar.

While the wait seems lengthy, new GTA 6 details keep on surfacing. And once again fresh information like the weapons in GTA 6 have possibly been revealed by an ex-Rockstar employee.

Former Rockstar Employee’s LinkedIn Reveals GTA 6 Details

Recent reports have surfaced regarding a former employee of Rockstar Games, Sayan Saha, who shared details about his work on GTA 6 on his LinkedIn profile.

According to Saha’s profile, he is now working on the next “GTA VI, GTA Trilogy Remaster, and GTA V next-gen update.” Although the Roman numeral for GTA 6 was removed from his profile, fans managed to capture screenshots before the edit, shedding light on his involvement in the game.

Saha mentioned working on over 500 in-game 2D assets for GTA 6, including more than 25 unique brands. His work involved labeling various items such as chainsaws, fire extinguishers, electric boards, boat motors, and car engines. This suggests that players may have the opportunity to use chainsaws and fire extinguishers as GTA 6 weapons, adding a thrilling element to the gameplay, particularly in the online mode.

Additionally, Saha mentioned his contribution to signage, generic clutter, and interior items, stating that these GTA 6 details were crafted systematically to enhance the immersion.

With the extra benefit of having improved graphics fidelity, these discoveries have given fans faith that GTA 6 will keep working to deliver smoother transitions between cutscenes and gameplay.

This isn’t the only time we got to know new GTA 6 details as back in 2022, the gaming community was rocked by a massive GTA 6 leak orchestrated by a teenage hacker named Arion Kurtaj. The leak involved the unauthorized release of over 90 clips from GTA 6, leading to significant backlash and scrutiny.

Well, the leaks were so massive that Rockstar sent DMCA takedown to remove the clips from all forums, however, as a result, additional cybercrimes committed by Kurtaj also came to light.

Now, fast forward to the present, it has been reported that Kurtaj has been deemed unfit to stand trial, as per Reuters. The jury will now determine whether Kurtaj committed the alleged acts, leaving the final verdict in their hands.
