Genshin Impact Varka, according to recent 3.6 leaks, can soon become one of the playable characters in the game.
Normally, a new 5-star character is introduced with every new Genshin update, but occasionally, we also get a 4-star character. It is not necessary that a new character will only be introduced in a patch update because miHoYo has already released Genshin Impact characters outside of this strategy.
Even though there are currently quite a few Genshin characters listed, many more are anticipated to come over the coming days. A couple of these characters have already been properly introduced, including Mika, Baizhu, and Kaveh.
As there have already been a few leaks indicating the inclusion of these unreleased Genshin Impact characters in the game, including Varka, a new datamined character likely to appear in the next update, there is a lot of expectation for their arrival.
Despite the fact that Genshin Impact Varka has only been a part of the lore and has not yet been featured as a playable in the game, new leaks have revealed more details regarding his appearance. Genshin Impact Varka leaks
Another Genshin Impact character who sticks out enough to be noticed is the Varka as mentioned earlier, especially now that the 3.6 beta has begun.
@77__oat, a well-known Genshin Impact leaker, posted fresh information on their Twitter account, claiming that there is a new upcoming character called “Varka.” The leaker stated, “we will see Varka in 3.8+ and once Fontaine is released, we will know him better.”
The leaker claimed the following on Varka’s model:
- Varka doesn’t look like grandpa
- He looks young
- He doesn’t have a beard
- He has a feather near his shoulder on the left side
- He has visible abs but is covered by clothes
- Varka has a Razor-like complexion
- Might have a visible wound somewhere.
- His clothing designs will have more Goth/Werewolf elements to it.
Team China, another reliable leaker, provided more information about Varka’s design in Genshin Impact and detailed Varka in a Q&A on NGA.

- Has a red-black color scheme
- Design elements similar to pokemon, Zoroark
- Wears a cool coat and has tons of wolf elements to his appearance
- Will have a Mika’s Elemental Burst feather on his left side

Genshin Impact Varka vision and weapon
Team China (TC) has also revealed that currently, Varka has a Cryo vision, however, it is too early to be sure on this, as the character is still in development.
Coming to Genshin Impact Varka weapon, Varka’s abilities and weapon type have yet to be revealed by HoYoverse, but he is known to have taught Razor how to use a claymore. This does not prove Varka is a claymore user, but it would make sense given his position as one of the most powerful people in Mondstadt.
Also, Varka has been dubbed the “titan of the Knights of Favonius” by Childe, and he intends to put his skills to the test. Varka’s connection to Boreas, the game’s Cryo wolf boss, could also imply that he possesses a Cryo or Anemo Vision.
If he isn’t completely canceled, fans will undoubtedly learn more about this new Genshin Varka character in the upcoming months, but the model and vision are always subject to change.

Genshin Impact Varka release date
According to Tao’s recent disclosures, though we don’t have a specific Varka release date, he will appear in the 3.8+ update and players will learn more about him after Fontiane’s release.
According to Tao, 3.8+ indicates that Varka may appear in the Genshin Impact 3.8 update or during one of the Fontaine updates (4.0 and further). As a result, fans can look forward to Varka’s first appearance in-game soon.
Although fans may soon see Varka for the first time in person, Genshin Impact has a slew of other characters planned until version 3.8. Baizhu and Kaveh have already been announced as the next characters to arrive with Version 3.6.
Then, in leaks, a new Geo character named Kirara from Inazuma has emerged; she is expected to make her debut in Version 3.7.
Well, Genshin Impact seems to have a large number of new characters planned to join the roster before Fontaine’s debut later this year. As a result, fans can expect to see Varka in the game soon, though it may take some time for miHoYo to officially announce the Genshin Impact Varka release date.

Genshin Impact Varka lore
Genshin Impact Varka, Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius of Mondstadt, has been mentioned in the game since day one. Varka is one of the many unreleased characters with few leaks surrounding its release.
Players will learn about Varka near the beginning of the game after meeting with the Knights of Favonius who will appear in Mondstadt. Varka will be replaced there by Jean, the current leader of the Knights, who is leading a Knights expedition.
Varka led an expedition outside of Mondstadt with a number of Knights of Favonious units prior to the Traveler’s appearance.
The mentioned expedition, led by Varka, had already left the game a year prior when the Traveler appeared in Mondstadt, and miHoYo provided no specific reason for the expedition’s removal or where the Knights went.
Varka has yet to appear in the game’s main storyline or side quests, therefore it is unclear exactly who or what he is hunting. Despite this, several characters comment on Varka’s height and strength, suggesting the Grand Master is a skilled fighter.
