How to Beat Sandman in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Dodging Attacks
Defeating Sandman is challenging, requiring patience and quick reflexes. Initially, your attacks won’t do much damage. Focus on evading his moves using the Circle button. To lower his health, throw objects back at him by pressing R1 and L1 simultaneously.
Activate Web Strike
Once you’ve evaded Sandman’s attacks for a while, you can activate the Web Strike with the Triangle button. When he throws Peter into a building, hold down R2 and use the left analog stick to free yourself.

As you try to make your escape, you’ll see someone who needs help. Press the Triangle button to save them before you swing to safety. After that, you’ll be in a place with sand creatures. Use the Square button to fight them. If there are too many creatures, Peter has a special attack called the Spider Barrage. You can use it by pressing L1 and Square. This attack lets you take out one enemy very accurately.
Taking Down Sandman
At some point in the game, the real Sandman character will show up. To defeat him, you’ll need to press the R1 and L1 buttons to drop a water pipe on him. After that, you’ll switch to playing as Miles, who will assist you by throwing objects at this boss. Look for a signal near his shoulder, and press the Triangle button to make it turn into something like crystals.
Escaping the Collapse
Sandman will try to run away, and you’ll have to follow him. When he stops to throw things at you, use R1 to shoot webs at him. Then press the Triangle button to tear pieces from his face and hit him over and over by tapping the Square button. Keep doing this until you finally damage his shoulder, and that will make Miles get thrown away.
