Xbox Game Pass April 2022 games will be announced soon, but we already have leaks on the potential titles which will show up on the service this month.
The best name in computers and a worthy competitor of Sony in gaming consoles, Microsoft has had a set pattern for every month’s fresh releases of games for the community.
They officially reveal the new Xbox Game Pass games that will be released in the next two weeks. But surprisingly enough, they did not stick to this pattern for Xbox Game Pass April 2022. It’s possible that Microsoft didn’t want to make such a huge announcement on April Fools’ Day, for obvious reasons.
Still, the fact remains that they have not yet revealed all the new titles that will be up for the Xbox Game Pass this month. It’s likely that they won’t be doing this reveal till next week.
But to counter the disappointment, we bring you the good news of the fact that some of the new Xbox Game Pass April 2022 titles may have been leaked online.

Xbox Game Pass April 2022 leak
If you go on to the Microsoft Store to the Xbox Game Pass Deals page, you will find that lately eight games have been listed there that are not presently available on the service. If you follow this event, you’ll know that the last time this type of thing went down was with a lot of Bethesda games.
And they did very much jump ship to Game Pass.
Hence, it is speculated that these games have been leaked for the April 2022 lineup. Now even if this turns out to be true, it is always possible that they’ll be coming to Xbox Game Pass at a later date. Or maybe they won’t be coming at all. Just keep this in mind.

Leaked Games of Xbox Game Pass
Taking all the leaks with a grain of salt, here are those eight Xbox Game Pass April 2022 games that were leaked online:
- Diablo 2: Resurrected
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
- Metal Gear Survive
- Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes
- Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain
Again, we give you a caveat. Don’t take this supposed Xbox Game Pass April 2022 lineup to be precise. But if this does turn out to be accurate, then it looks like Xbox Game Pass is about to get a lot of old, classic, and famous titles.
If we are honest with ourselves, it is fair to admit that the titles Call of Duty (CoD) and Diablo 2: Resurrected, published by Activision, won’t have surprised us too much if we found them on Xbox Game Pass at some point in the near future.

The proof is that Microsoft is going to acquire Activision Blizzard, and when this does happen, they will own both of the franchises. When Microsoft acquired Bethesda, it was seen that Bethesda’s titles were now available for Xbox Game Pass. If history is any indication, we will see that Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision will lead to the coming of Activision’s titles to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
But of course, time is the major factor. The big question now is when this might happen. The common assumption would be that Microsoft would deal with Activision’s acquisition first and then introduce the titles to their service.
But seeing that we are talking about just four games here, and not every single game Activision has published for Xbox, we could expect that they’ve had some deal to get those games into the Game Pass ahead of schedule. But as mentioned, it is totally possible that the listings we saw were false or wrong.

Hence, subscribers of Xbox Game Pass would very well have to wait for Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision before they get their hands on any of their titles. If the leaked Xbox Game Pass April 2022 games turn out to be true, however, you’ll be getting information about that next week.
