Halo Infinite Forge mode footage leak
This Halo Infinite Forge mode footage has been released by Rebs Gaming on Twitter. In one part of this video, we get to see a weapon that apparently functions like the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2.
A small group of community creators has been closed testing the Halo Infinite Forge mode since the beginning of this year and it has been planned for release in the third season of Halo Infinite.
But given that the first season got extended to over six months, after which the second season started, what the scene suggests is that this Halo Infinite Forge mode will not arrive until the end of this year.
The developers have recently announced that Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op mode is going to be up for a public test in July. “With #HaloInfinite campaign network co-op arriving later this year, we’re planning to fly it to Halo Insiders in July,” tweeted the official account of 343 Industries. “Register and make sure your Halo Insider profile is up to date for a chance to participate!”

Apparently, “late August” is when the co-op mode of the online game is going to release, said 343 in a development progress update.
This is what 343 Industries tweeted about the Halo Infinite Forge mode, “For example, we want to get the Forge toolset into your hands sooner rather than later so that awesome community maps and modes can more rapidly make their way into the game. To make this happen, we’re targeting a Forge open beta later in Season 2.
“We’ve successfully had Forge in private flighting with a limited audience for some time, so we’ve decided to forgo a large-scale formal flighting program and go right to open beta.
“With this approach, we can get the core Forge tools out to everyone quicker while also remaining focused on our core priority of continuing to improve foundational aspects of Halo Infinite. Forge will persist from the open beta onwards, evolving and growing over time.”
