Genshin Impact 3.0 update will be released somewhere in late July, but leaks have already hinted at Collei, Dendro Archon Kusanali’s release date.
Currently, players are busy with Genshin Impact 2.6 update which was dropped by the developers on March 30th. The new patch always brings new characters into the game, and if not character(s) then at least one 5-star character is certainly introduced with a new update.
With Genshin 2.6 update, HoYoverse brought Ayato into the game, and have announced Yelan and Kuki Shinobu to be playable in Genshin 2.7 update.
But other than official announcements, we have leakers who have revealed fresh information on Genshin Impact 3.0 update, and the characters who will be joining the game’s gacha pool after that.
There are various characters that have been detained and are certain to join the game at some point, and the new Genshin leaks have hinted at the arrival of a few such characters like Collei, Dendro Archon – Kusanali, the new Claymore character, and many more.

Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks
Recently the Genshin 2.7 beta began and dataminers got the opportunity to dig up the in-game files, however, other than the 2.7 beta, new leaks have emerged from the NGA community from a certain leaker called Uncle Pigeon.
Ubatcha, another well-known leaker, afterward shared the Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks post on the WFP Discord channel, claiming that the leak originated with Uncle Pigeon.
The leaked post reads:
- I remembered seeing some info while browsing Bahamut (a Taiwanese gaming forum). I’ve heard the source is from a certain person’s [high-level beta test] group chat.
- Collei is dendro, and 2 bow character kits and 1 sword kit were given, should come out for 3.0.
- Dendro archon 3.1
- New cryo claymore, NA/CA spam type like itto, perfect fit for shenhe (this isn’t set in stone, subject to change)
Genshin Impact 3.0 update will bring 3 new characters
According to the leaker, the upcoming Dendro character will be Collei, a popular unreleased Genshin character. He also announced that the Genshin Impact 3.0 update will include two bow characters and one sword character.
Genshin Impact manga is sort of a hidden element of the game, and Collei is one of the main characters in it. Collei hasn’t been mentioned in the game’s lore yet, but with the number of leaks surrounding the character, it wouldn’t be wrong to presume that Collei’s release will be scheduled for Genshin Impact 3.0 update.
Collei’s story in the manga is unquestionably heartfelt. It is based on Fatui’s mistreatment of her as a test subject, as well as all of the horrors she has experienced. Moreover, because Collei is from Sumeru, travellers assume that he will come with a Dendro vision and her participation in the manga only adds to the credibility of such accusations.
Leaks have also revealed that the Sumeru region will be released in Genshin Impact 3.0 update and as per the official storyline, Sumeru will be the home of the Dendro element. There are seven different elements in the game for now, and Dendro is the only element that no playable characters employ. So clearly, Collei’s release leak aligns well with the Sumeru leaks.
Despite the fact that the leaker mentioned Collei’s element, the identities of these characters remain unknown for obvious reasons.

Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks
Furthermore, it has been claimed that the much-anticipated Dendro Archon character, Kusanali will be included in the Genshin 3.1 update. Then there’s Cryo claymore, who, like Itto, will be a NA/CA spammer and could be the ideal match for Shenhe.
Zhongli has mentioned the youngest Archon and is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated figures. And even a few leaks have hinted at the appearance of the upcoming Dendro Archon.
In Genshin Impact’s main plot, the Travellers are currently searching for their missing sibling, and in order to do so, they are seeking out each nation’s Archon, implying that Sumeru’s Dendro Archon will be featured soon.
However, it remains to be seen if the Dendro Archon will be released with the launch of the Sumeru region or will be it introduced a patch later in Genshin 3.1 update as suggested by new leaks.
Many gamers are disappointed that Scaramouche, Baizhu, and Cyno were not included in the leaks, however, these rumors come from a Taiwanese gaming site, so it is ideal to take them with a grain of salt.

If we go by the usual schedule pattern, then it is expected that HoYoverse will release the Genshin Impact 3.0 update on August 3, 2022, which is 4 months away, and we also have the 2.8 update which is yet to have a beta. Implying, we will have to wait a while to get confirmed information on the Genshin 3.0 patch.
