New Assassin’s Creed Jade gameplay footage has been leaked, providing a glimpse into the breathtaking new scenery and quests that players will encounter in this eagerly awaited installment.
In Ubisoft Forward 2023, Ubisoft officially unveiled Assassin’s Creed Jade with an exciting new trailer, but unfortunately, no official release date was disclosed. It was announced that the game is an open-world RPG set in Ancient China.
And even though the storyline remains somewhat mysterious, a recent gameplay walkthrough leak of the mobile version of Assassin’s Creed Jade surfaced online hinting that players will likely assume the role of an assassin with the task of eliminating Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

Assassin’s Creed Jade Gameplay Footage Leak
The closed beta for the game started today, and from the leaked Assassin’s Creed Jade gameplay footage, we can see that Kassandra and Wei Yu, who previously assassinated China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, are making a comeback.
The leaked Assassin’s Creed Jade gameplay clip is a segment of the quest “A Mediterranean Expedition,” where the objective is to “Go with Kassandra.” In the footage, we see Kassandra guiding Wei Yu in performing the iconic Leap of Faith, with some playful banter between the two as they proceed.
At the dock, Wei Yu handles the lower-level guards while Kassandra scales the higher posts. During this scene, Wei Yu doesn’t have a hidden blade, but he skillfully wields a knife similar to how Kassandra handled her spear.
The rest of the leaked footage showcases Wei Yu engaging in combat with enemies at the docks, wielding a spear and giving us a glimpse of the mobile HUD and combat mechanics. Although it’s not a replica of the RPG-style Assassin’s Creed games, the mobile version retains striking similarities.

The leaked Assassin’s Creed Jade gameplay footage spans over two hours, giving viewers insights into the game’s combat, customization, and other features. However, the exact release date remains unknown, and the extensive voice acting in the footage suggests that it might still be some time before the game officially hits the market.
The leak was originally posted by iMobile Gaming and LolcatP has shared the same on the GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit with another link, though they expressed uncertainty about the permissibility of sharing such footage.
Well, Wei Yu might be familiar to fans as the man under the villa statue in Assassin’s Creed 2 and Kassandra’s reappearance isn’t a first since Odyssey.
In The Fate of Atlantis DLC, Kassandra acquires an ancient precursor staff granting her immortality, allowing her to live until Layla’s time in the modern-day storyline, which means she can potentially appear in several games. Then we encountered her again in Valhalla through Eivor’s perspective, and now she’s set to cross paths with Wei Yu.

Well, this isn’t the first time we are getting a gameplay footage leak.
To give you an indication of how far along the new game is in production, Assassin’s Creed Jade entered beta back in December 2022 too. And then too, numerous gameplay leaks were revealed by playtesters of what they had seen of the game’s Chinese setting, including brief clips of combat, exploration, and parkour.
At least this time, Assassin’s Creed Jade gameplay is showing us something a little more official and impressive.
As the official game’s description reveals, players will have the opportunity to create their assassin and immerse themselves in the open-world experience of Assassin’s Creed Codename JADE, set in Ancient China. The game offers optimized touch controls for a seamless experience, allowing players to engage in parkour on the Great Wall, sneak through bustling cities, uncover hidden locations, and explore diverse environments against the epic backdrop of Ancient China.
