Featured Games and Composers in PlayStation Concert
The PlayStation concert is bringing an awesome lineup of music from some of the most popular PlayStation games. In addition to the main chapters focusing on titles like The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon, the concert will also showcase fan-favorite themes from other acclaimed games, including:
- Bloodborne
- Astro Bot
- Journey
- Uncharted
- Helldivers 2
Sony is keeping things tight-lipped about what other games will be included, but the PlayStation Blog did promise a lineup celebrating 30 years of gaming history. That means fans can expect music from the PS1 days all the way up to today’s biggest hits.
If we had to guess, classics like Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of the Colossus, and Gran Turismo will definitely be part of the mix. And if PaRappa the Rapper gets a nod, that’s an instant win.
More games will be revealed soon, and we’ll keep you posted so you know what’s coming to the live show.
Also, the concert will showcase the works of esteemed composers who have made a lasting impact on video game music, including Gustavo Santaolalla, Bear McCreary, Ilan Eshkeri, and Joris de Man.
Their original compositions have been thoughtfully reimagined in collaboration with the music teams of gaming studios to preserve their authenticity. This ensures a rich and immersive experience for the audience, bringing the spirit of these iconic soundtracks to life.
