Well, for starters, the game’s pseudo-turn-based fights will be designed to be more action-oriented. This news comes from the YouTuber MrMattyPlays. They claim that this Knights of the Old Republic remake is looking towards games like Nioh 2 and God of War for inspiration, according to their sources.
This is further proved by the open positions of Combat Designer and AI engineer at Aspyr.
The original version of the video game has been ported to mobile and Nintendo Switch platforms. But Knights of the Old Republic remake will be a PlayStation 5 and PC exclusive game at release.
However, since the original game was an Xbox exclusive at launch, it’s possible that it’ll soon come to other platforms too.
