Valorant Agent 21 or Mage is the next main character to show up in the game, and leaks have already revealed some interesting insights about him.
Valorant, the free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games, has seen success the like of which not many have experienced. Apart from being an awesome game, there is a constant emphasis on updating the content and adding new features.
Agents are one of the elements that are given the most attention in the entire game. In this post, we will be discussing everything the leaks and rumors reveal about the latest Agent to join the roster in-game – Valorant Agent 21.
The last Agent to be added to the roster was Fade, who is a Radiant Initiator. Anticipating the eventual draining of excitement around a new character, Riot is poised to release Valorant Agent 21 – Mage soon. Let us see what this Agent is all about.
Valorant Agent 21 Release date
We don’t have much information in this regard. But from previous patterns, Valorant Agent 21 is probably not going to be released before Episode 5 Act 3 releases, which is set to happen on October 19, 2022. And that is a little way off.
We are currently at the beginning phases of Episode 5 Act 2, the teaser of which dropped recently. The delay is not necessarily a bad thing. You could take the time to make yourself familiar with the shiny new pearl map before another fresh face comes around.
Valorant Agent 21 Codename
The first thing leaks and rumors bring us is the codename of this mysterious Agent 21. ValorLeaks tells us that internally, Agent 21 goes around with the tag of Valorant Mage. A simple name in appearance but with many possible overtones.
See, this codename has connections with Riot Games’ other gaming juggernaut. That means the possibility of a crossover, like what we saw with titles like Neon and Zeri, hangs in the air.
Right now, we don’t know how far the shadow of League of Legends might extend into Valorant. But at this junction, it is important to note that magic forms a dominant element in Valorant’s ability system. So is it too much to ask to see one more Agent use the primordial forces, much like Omen?
Soon after we came to be in the know of this codename, Riot revealed a teaser that purportedly tells us Agent 21’s full name. On July 30, in the Practice Range, ‘Varun Vatra’ appeared in an email. That’s the outer meaning. The inner meaning tells us that a new “REALM operative” could be coming our way soon. Also, from the way, we can say that this guy is going to be from India.
