Welcome to the final place in Pikmin 4, called the Primordial Thicket. It’s a tough spot, not very friendly, but it’s your last chance to find treasures. Get ready for poison and not-so-nice surroundings. Here, you’ll meet strange animals and really strange plants. You’ll need to deal with Flarlic, Pink Onion, and many mushroom-like enemies. But be careful, the count of treasures might confuse you—it’s hiding.
A big part of it is in a cave that opens up as you go on in the main story. Don’t worry if you don’t find everything; you can come back later. All Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasures, rescues, onions, and adventures
This sixth and final area, Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket is a vast, muddy forest harboring 15 treasures on the surface and 74 more in its challenging caves. Alongside these, find 8 rescues, 3 Onions, and 7 cave adventures, including a fierce Dandori Battle cave and 3 Dandori Challenges. With a grand treasure worth 7,750, including 2,580 above ground, let’s explore.

Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket: Surface World
- Heroic Shield: This hidden treasure is in the South area. To get it, go up the stairs in the north with Oatchi and use 2 Pikmin by throwing them at the treasure.
- Scaly Custard: The treasure can be found at the southern edge. You’ll need to go up a small step or platform. But be careful, because the treasure might be covered in goo.
- Searing Acidshock: To find Searing Acidshock, check the bottom of the overworld inside a Baldy Long Legs creature. Defeat the Baldy Long Legs first, then toss 3 Pikmin at it to get the treasure.
- Mock Botto: Mock Bottom is in the Southeast, covered in goo. To get the treasure, use White Pikmin or poison-resistant Oatchi to destroy mushrooms and remove mold. Then, throw 12 Pikmin at it.
- Beckoning Mannequin: The Beckoning Mannequin is on an island in the Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket’s bottom right. Defeat 3 Muckerskates guarding it. To get the treasure, bring 80 Ice Pikmin to freeze the mud. Then, toss 20 Pikmin at the treasure. You can also use Ice Blasts and 20 Winged Pikmin instead.
- Gold Nuggets: The treasure can be found in the East, close to a Startle Spore. It’s hidden beneath some gooey stuff.
- Delectable Bouquet: This hidden Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is on the Northeast side, protected by a little water trench and a creature called Grubchucker. To uncover it, you can use Pikmin or Oatchi.
- Crunchy Deluge: The treasure is in the North-northeast. It’s stuck in gooey stuff. To get it, just clean off the sticky mold.
- Bathing Pool: The bathing pool treasure is in the very northern part, up a raised area. There are two Bogswallows guarding it. Beat them before getting the treasure. To grab it, toss 12 Pikmin at it.
- Portable Sunset: This treasure is in the Northwest, hanging up high. Toss Pikmin from the bridge to bring it down. No need to build the bridge.
- Fastening Item (x2): This treasure is found near the third landing spot towards the northwest.
- Faux Fishy: You can find Faux Fishy in a muddy pool south of the third landing spot. To catch it, use Ice Pikmin to freeze the mud.
- Tremendous Sniffer: To find the Tremendous Sniffer treasure, go to the third Emperor Bulblax in Sublevel 5 of the Cavern for a King in the Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket. Beat all three Emperor Bulblaxes and then toss 12 Pikmin at the treasure to collect it.
- Heroine’s Tear: This treasure is stuck in a gooey mold on the left side of the game world. To get it, you need to remove the mushrooms around it, and then the treasure will come out of the ground. After that, throw 12 Pikmin at it to collect it.
- Dusk Pustules: You can find them on the far western side of the map. To get there, either go beyond the Puffstool area or use the mushroom platforms near the muck pool close to the third landing site.
- Golden Vaulting Table: In the middle of the map, there’s this special place. You can get there by making a wall from the Puffstool area in the west or building a bridge from the north. It’s heavy, about 1,000 units, and you’ll need 100 Purple Pikmin (or 90 with the help of a strong Oatchi) to carry it.

Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket: Subterranean Swarm
In the Subterranean Swarm cave, you’ll find many different enemies, especially bug-like ones that are vulnerable to Rock Pikmin and Winged Pikmin. Inside, you’ll face a Horned Cannon Beetle and a Sovereign Bulblax. This cave holds treasures worth a total of 1,275.
Sublevel 1
- Hoop of Healing: This valuable Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is trapped in a web spun by arachnids out in the western area of a place called the “west room.”
- Hoop of Fortune: The treasure is trapped in a spider web in the western room called Arachnode.
- Sphere of Calm: The treasure hangs close to the landing spot. Toss Pikmin from the high ledge in the room to the east to reach it down.
Sublevel 2
- Belted Delicacy: This Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is in the middle of a room’s west side. To reach it, jump up from the north side using Oatchi.
- Spouse Alert: The Spouse Alert treasure is up a spiral mountain’s right side. An Armored Cannon Larva guards it. Beat the bug before taking the treasure. To get it, throw 2 Pikmin at it.
Sublevel 3
- Creativity Conduit: To get this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure from the Horned Cannon Beetle, beat it and toss 7 Pikmin at it. The beetle drops the treasure once defeated.
- Back-at-the-Beginning Track: In a level, there’s this special treasure hidden on the left side. A tough bug called the Horned Cannon Beetle guards it. Before getting the treasure, beat the bug. First, remove the sticky stuff on the treasure, then use 7 Pikmin to grab it.
Sublevel 4
- Gold Nuggets: It’s found in the western tunnels, close to a bunch of sticky goo.
- Memory Fragment (Center Right): This treasure is in the East Room of Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket, resting on a metal container (tin).
- Chance Totem: The treasure is in the room to the east. Smash the pot that’s on top of the tall shelf to find it.
- Mega Horn: This powerful Mega Horn treasure is on the ground near the top of a Sublevel. Two Flighty Joustmites guard it, so beat them first. To get the treasure, toss 15 Pikmin at it.
Sublevel 5
- Sweet Stumble-Not: The “Sweet Stumble-Not” treasure is on the left side of a sublevel, behind a gate with a number. To open the gate, beat the Sovereign Bulblax in the middle. Get 7 Pikmin to collect the treasure from the ground.

Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket: The Mud Pit
In Pikmin 4, the Mud Pit is another cave found in the Primordial Thicket area. It’s full of muddy areas that can be tough to cross, especially with the deep swamps that even Blue Pikmin can’t handle. Winged Pikmin are useful as they can fly over the mud. There’s a part where you face a Bug-Eyed Crawmad. This cave holds 960 worth of treasure at its bottom.
- Gold Nuggets: The treasure is in the Southwest, behind bars, and protected by a little Atristocrab.
- Sphere of Good Fortune: The lucky Sphere is on the right side of Subarea 1 in The Mud Pit. A small Miniature Snootwhacker protects it. Defeat the creature first, then throw 7 Pikmin to collect the treasure.
- Hoop of Passion: The hidden treasure is in the northern region of Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket, on a difficult-to-spot muddy land that sticks out into the water.
- Crunchy Deluge: The Crunchy Deluge treasure can be found in a Mamuta creature on the upper right of a Subarea. First, defeat the Mamuta, then use 12 Pikmin to retrieve the treasure.
Sublevel 2
- Portable Sunset: The treasure is in the West. It was left behind by a creature called Bogswallow.
- Gold Nuggets: This treasure is in the northwest. It’s tucked inside a pot.
- The Skin of the Phoenix: The Skin of the Phoenix treasure is in mud at the center of a level. There’s a bird and three Muckerskates guarding it. You can beat them if you want, but you don’t have to. To get the treasure, throw 3 Winged Pikmin at it.
- Sweat-Soaked Blue Bird: Sweat-Soaked Blue Bird’s treasure is trapped in mud at the sublevel’s center. To reach it, you might need to defeat three Muckerskates, but you can also grab it without doing that.
- Dawn Pustules: This item is located in the Southeast region of Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket and is left behind by a big Snowy Blowhog creature.
- Crush Nugget: The treasure is in the Southeast. It’s inside a little jelly-like thing.
Sublevel 3
- Life Station: This valuable Life Station treasure is on the right side of this level, in the mud. A Bug-Eyed Crawmad is protecting it, so beat it first. To get the treasure, throw 10 Pikmin at it.

Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket: Cavern For A King
The last cave in the game is important to curing Oatchi’s sickness. If you can’t spot it on the map, advance in the main story and defeat Louie in the Dandori fight. This reveals the hidden entrance. As most rooms are boss arenas, we’re condensing the treasured info into a single table, excluding area maps.
Sublevel 1
- Sticky Jewel: This Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is Dropped by Toxstool
Sublevel 2
- Mechanical Harp (Lullabies): The Mechanical Harp treasure is in the upper left part of a Sublevel. It’s protected by a big Jumbo Bulborb, a regular Bulborb, and four small Dwarf Bulborbs. You need to beat these enemies with your Pikmin before getting the treasure. To take the treasure, throw 7 Pikmin at it.
- Uniquely You Goo: Defeat the big Bulborb to get its treasure. Beat the Jumbo Bulborb to make it drop the treasure.
Sublevel 3
- Talisman of Life (Phoenix): After beating the Burrowing Snagret, you’ll get this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure from it. Just defeat the snagged and you’ll find the treasure it drops.
Sublevel 4
- Orbital Communication Sphere (x3): You can find this treasure by beating the Arctic Cannon Beetle. Toss 5 Pikmin at it after you win.
Sublevel 5
- Tremendous Sniffer: This treasure is Dropped by Emperor Bulblax.
Sublevel 6
- Planetary Rubber Cutie: The treasure is on a floating platform at the center. Just follow the platforms and fans to get there.
Sublevel 7
- S.S. Peppermint: You can find this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure by defeating a big Snowy Blowhog creature. It might drop the treasure after you defeat it.
- S.S. Berry: The treasure is hidden in a Titan Blowhog found in the bottom right corner of a Sublevel. To get it, beat the Titan Blowhog and toss 3 Pikmin at it.
Sublevel 8
- Dapper Blob: To get the treasure from Crusted Rumpup, first beat it, then toss 5 Pikmin at it.
Sublevel 9
- Heroic Sword (x2) & Bright Sword (x2): The both treasure are Dropped by Man-At-Legs
Sublevel 10
- Wayward Moon: To get this treasure from Smoky Progg, you need to beat it and then toss 50 Pikmin at it.

Sublevel 11
- The Disk of Sorrowful Wisdom, Disk of Amusing Wisdom, and Neon Goo: This Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is located in hallways and was probably grabbed by a creature called a Bloomcap Bloyster.
Sublevel 12
- Unfinished Statue: The treasure is in the west hallway, accessible through a tunnel to the west of the main room.
Sublevel 13
- Mysterious Carriage: You find this treasure when you beat Gildemander. First, defeat Gildemander and remove the sticky mold nearby. Then, throw 30 Pikmin at it.
- Memory Fragment (Center Right): This hidden treasure is in the goo zone to the west. To find it, clear away the sticky mold and the treasure will show up.
Sublevel 14
- Foolish Fruit: To get this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure, beat the Horned Cannon Beetle and its 3 Armored Cannon Larvae. Then toss 5 Pikmin at the treasure, dropped by the Armored Cannon Beetle.
Sublevel 15
- Trap Lid (x10): You can find this special item by beating Baldy Long Legs. After winning, toss 1 Blue or Winged Pikmin (or just 1 Pikmin if it’s on land) at each treasure to gather them. Remember, defeat the creature first, then use the right Pikmin to collect the treasures.
Sublevel 16
- Connection Detector: To get this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure from Waterwraith, beat two Waterwraiths, then use 20 Pikmin by throwing them at it.
Sublevel 17
- Fire-Breathing Feast: This treasure is left behind by Empress Bulblax. To get it, you need to beat the Empress Bulblax and its baby Bulborb Larvae. After that, throw 20 Pikmin at it to collect the treasure.
Sublevel 18
- Don’t-See-It Specs: You can find this Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket special item by defeating Emperor Bulblax. First, defeat Sovereign Bulblax. Then, either use 12 Blue Pikmin or 50 Ice Pikmin to freeze water nearby. Throw 12 Pikmin at Emperor Bulblax to collect the treasure.

Sublevel 19
- Pocked Airhead: The treasure is hidden to the east, right where you land.
- Sunseed Berry: The hidden treasure is inside a bucket to the west. To get it, you need to toss 3 Pikmin towards it.
- Juicy Gaggle: The treasure is in a bucket to the west.
- Blonde Imposter: You can find the treasure in the southern water of Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket. To get it, toss 5 Blue or Winged Pikmin at it.
- Zest Bomb: Similar to Blonde Imposter, You can find this treasure in the southern water. To get it, toss 5 Blue or Winged Pikmin at it.
- Cupid’s Grenade (x2): You can find this treasure underwater to the south. To gather it, toss one Blue or Winged Pikmin at each treasure.
- Cupid’s Grenade: The treasure is in the water to the south. To get it, throw 1 Blue or Winged Pikmin at each treasure.
- Heroine’s Tear: The Pikmin 4 Primordial Thicket treasure is on a bucket in the middle. To get it, throw 12 Pikmin or use Oatchi’s Rush to knock it down.
Sublevel 20
- Gift of Friendship: Defeat the Ancient Sirehound to get its treasure, which you’ll automatically receive after the battle in a cutscene. You don’t need to do anything special – just beat the monster to collect your reward.
